وَحَدَّثَنِي، عَنْ وَحَدَّثَنِي، عَنْ مَالِك، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ ، قَالَ : " إِيَّاكُمْ وَاللَّحْمَ فَإِنَّ لَهُ ضَرَاوَةً كَضَرَاوَةِ الْخَمْرِ "
Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Beware of meat (that is, of eating too much meat and becoming accustomed to it), because the desire for meat develops just as the desire for wine develops from drinking it (then it becomes difficult to give up).
