وَحَدَّثَنِي، عَنْ مَالِك، عَنْ أَبِي نُعَيْمٍ وَهْبِ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ ، قَالَ : أُتِيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِطَعَامٍ وَمَعَهُ رَبِيبُهُ عُمَرُ بْنُ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " سَمِّ اللَّهَ وَكُلْ مِمَّا يَلِيكَ "
It is narrated from Abu Nu'aym Wahb bin Kaysan that food was brought to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and with him was his stepson, 'Umar bin Abi Salamah (the son of Lady Umm Salamah, may Allah be pleased with her, from her previous husband). The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said to him: "Eat from what is in front of you and say 'Bismillah' (In the name of Allah)."
