حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ مَالِك، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ سَعِيدَ بْنَ الْمُسَيَّبِ ، وَسُلَيْمَانَ بْنَ يَسَارٍ " يَنْهَيَانِ أَنْ يَبِيعَ الرَّجُلُ حِنْطَةً بِذَهَبٍ إِلَى أَجَلٍ، ثُمَّ يَشْتَرِيَ بِالذَّهَبِ تَمْرًا قَبْلَ أَنْ يَقْبِضَ الذَّهَبَ "
Hazrat Saeed bin Musayyib and Sulaiman bin Yasar used to prohibit that a person should sell wheat for gold on a deferred basis, and then, before taking the gold, take dates in exchange for it.
