وَحَدَّثَنِي، عَنْ وَحَدَّثَنِي، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّهُ بَلَغَهُ، أَنَّ أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، كَانَتْ تَقُولُ : " تَجْمَعُ الْحَادُّ رَأْسَهَا بِالسِّدْرِ وَالزَّيْتِ "
Umm al-Mu'minin Sayyida Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) used to say: A woman in mourning may wash her head with lotus leaves and may apply olive oil.
