Muwatta Malik (Yahya) 1039 — on abstaining from eating what is killed
وَحَدَّثَنِي، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّهُ بَلَغَهُ، أَنَّ الْقَاسِمَ بْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ، " كَانَ يَكْرَهُ مَا قَتَلَ الْمِعْرَاضُ وَالْبُنْدُقَةُ "
Imam Malik (may Allah have mercy on him) was informed that Hazrat Qasim bin Muhammad considered it disliked to eat an animal that was killed with a stick or a bullet.
