It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that whenever a matter came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) that pleased him (peace and blessings be upon him) - or at which he (peace and blessings be upon him) was pleased - he (peace and blessings be upon him) would fall down in prostration to give thanks to Allah, the Mighty and Majestic.
This hadith is sahih (authentic), even though the two Shaykhs did not record it, because Bakkar bin Abd al-Aziz is saduq (truthful) according to the Imams. The two of them did not take it because of their condition for narration, and there is no narrator from Abd al-Aziz bin Abi Bakrah other than his son Bakkar. And Allah knows best.

Yahya bin Ma'in was asked about Bakkar bin Abd al-Aziz bin Abi Bakrah, and he said: He is salih al-hadith (sound in hadith). This hadith has many supporting narrations, among them: that he (peace and blessings be upon him) saw a monkey and fell down in prostration; that he (peace and blessings be upon him) saw a disabled person and fell down in prostration; that at the conquest of Khaybar, when Ja'far bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) came to him (peace and blessings be upon him), he (peace and blessings be upon him) fell down in prostration; and that he (peace and blessings be upon him) saw a dwarf (a very short person) and fell down in prostration.
