Mustadrak al-Hakim — Hadith 8449

It is narrated from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is for you that disliked yet beneficial thing: talbinah (barley broth). By the One in whose Hand is the soul of Muhammad, it washes your stomach just as one of you washes the dirt off his face with water." She said: When anyone from the household of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) fell ill, the pot would remain on the fire until his matter was decided, that is, until he either recovered or passed away.
This hadith is on the condition of Imam Bukhari, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.
