Yahya bin Ma'in says that Amr bin Shu'ayb is trustworthy.
Imam al-Hakim says that the imams criticised this chain only because of its being mursal (with a gap), since Shu'ayb did not hear directly from his grandfather Abdullah bin Amr.

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): The author (al-Hakim) followed Ibn Hibban's view here, who denied that Shu'ayb heard from his grandfather Abd Allah bin Amr; but this view is rejected, as al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar said. The master of the discipline, al-Bukhari, as well as Abu Dawud and others, affirmed that he heard from him, as mentioned in his biography in al-Hafiz al-Mizzi's "Tahdhib al-Kamal".
