حدَّثنا أبو بكر بن بالَوَيهِ، حدَّثنا إبراهيم بن إسحاق الحَرْبي، حدَّثنا مصعب بن عبد الله قال: وبُسْرةُ بنت صفوان بن نَوفل بن أسد بن عبد العُزَّى بن قُصَي، وهي أختُ عُقبةَ بن أبي مُعيط لأمِّه، وهي جَدَّةُ (1) عبد الملك بن مروان، وأمُّ عبد الملك عائشةُ بنت معاوية بن المغيرة بن أبي العاص بن أُميَّة، عاشت بُسرةُ بعدَ رسول الله ﷺ، ورَوَتْ عنه الخبرَ في الوضوء مِن مسِّ الذَّكَرِ، مشهورٌ (2). ذكرُ بَرَّة بنتِ أبي تَجْراة ﵂
It is narrated from Mus'ab bin Abdullah that Sayyidah Busrah bint Safwan (may Allah be pleased with her) was the maternal half-sister of Uqbah bin Abi Mu'ayt and the maternal grandmother of Abd al-Malik bin Marwan; the mother of Abd al-Malik was Aishah bint Mu'awiyah bin al-Mughirah bin Abi al-As bin Umayyah. She lived on after the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and the hadith narrated from her about ablution after touching the private part is very well known.
