It is narrated from Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal (may Allah have mercy on him) that the name of Sayyidah Umm Hani' bint Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with her) is Hind, and her mother is Sayyidah Fatimah bint Asad bin Hashim (may Allah be pleased with her). Imam Abu Abdullah (Ahmad bin Hanbal) (may Allah be pleased with him) mentioned the name of Umm Hani' in this way, whereas according to abundantly transmitted, mutawatir reports her name is "Fakhitah".

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
8/ 317. Technical note / Defect ('illah): Imam al-Dhahabi, commenting critically on the author in "al-Talkhis", said: "Where is the tawatur?!" (i.e. the claim of mass transmission for this is not correct). We say: It is more fitting to say that the best-known of her names is "Fakhitah", and al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar pointed to this in "al-Isabah" (8/317).
