قال ابن عمر: وشَهِدَ معه بدرًا وأُحدًا، وثَبَتَ يوم أُحد مع رسول الله ﷺ حين ولَّى الناسُ، وشَهِدَ الخندقَ والحُديبيةَ وخيبرَ وفتحَ مكة، وكانت معه يومئذٍ إحدى راياتِ المهاجرين الثلاث، وشَهِدَ مع رسول الله ﷺ المشاهدَ كلُّها، وكان من الرُّماة المذكورين من أصحاب رسول الله ﷺ (2).
Muhammad bin Umar (al-Waqidi) says that he took part with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) in the Battles of Badr and Uhud. On the day of Uhud, when the people fell back, he stood firm with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). He also took part in the Battle of the Trench, al-Hudaybiyah, Khaybar and the Conquest of Makkah, and on that day one of the three banners of the Muhajirun was with him. He took part in all the battles with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and he was one of the renowned archers among the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).
