حَدَّثَنَا أبو عبد الله محمد بن يعقوب الحافظ، حَدَّثَنَا علي بن الحسن الهِلالي، حَدَّثَنَا مُعلَّى بن أَسَد، حَدَّثَنَا وُهيب، عن عبد الله عثمان بن خُثَيم، عن عبد الرحمن بن سابِط، عن جابر بن عبد الله، قال: قال رسولُ الله ﷺ لكعب بن عُجْرةَ: "يا كعب بن عُجْرة، إني أُعيذُك بالله من إمارة السُّفهاء" قال: يا رسولَ الله، وما إمارةُ السُّفهاء؟ قال: "أُمراءُ يكونونَ من بَعدي، من دَخَل عليهم فصدَّقهم بكذِبِهم، وأعانَهم على ظُلمِهم، فليس منِّي ولستُ منه، ولن يَرِدَ عليَّ الحوضَ" (1). ذكرُ مناقب أبي قَتَادة الأنصاري ﵁ -

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Sayyiduna Ka'b bin Ujrah (may Allah be pleased with him): "O Ka'b bin Ujrah, I seek refuge for you with Allah from the rule of the foolish." He said: O Messenger of Allah, what is the rule of the foolish? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There will be rulers after me; whoever goes in to them, affirms their lies and helps them in their oppression, then he has nothing to do with me and I have nothing to do with him, and he will never come to me at the Pond (al-Kawthar)."

(1) صحيح لغيره، وهذا إسناد قوي من أجل عبد الله بن عثمان بن خثيم. وهيب: هو ابن خالد.
Grading: It is "sahih li-ghayrihi", and this chain is "strong" because of Abdullah bin Uthman bin Khuthaym.
Important point: Wuhayb is Wuhayb bin Khalid.
وأخرجه أحمد 23/ (15284) عن عفان بن مسلم، عن وهيب، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Ahmad narrated it (23/15284) via Affan bin Muslim from Wuhayb, with this same chain.
وقد سلف برقم (266).
Note / Clarification: This has already passed at hadith no. (266).
