Mustadrak al-Hakim — Hadith 1136

أخبرَناه أحمد بن جعفر القَطِيعي، حدثنا عبد الله بن أحمد بن حنبل، حدثني أبي، حدثنا عبد الأعلى، حدثنا مَعمَر، عن يحيى بن أبي كَثير، عن أبي نَضْرة، عن أبي سعيد الخُدْري، أنَّ النبي ﷺ قال: "أَوتِروا قبلَ أن تُصبِحوا" (1).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط مسلم ولم يُخرجاه. وله شاهد صحيح:

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Pray witr before the morning comes."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Muslim, but they did not record it, and it has an authentic supporting narration (shahid).

Grading: (1) Its chain is sahih. Abd al-A'la al-Sami is among its narrators.
وأخرجه أحمد 17/ (11324)، ومسلم (754) (160)، وابن ماجه (1189)، والترمذي (468) من طريقين عن عبد الأعلى بن عبد الأعلى، بهذا الإسناد.
