Musnad Ishaq bin Rahwayh 537 — Description of war booty (ghanimah)
اَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُالْاَعْلٰی، نَا دَاوٗدُ بْنُ اَبِیْ هِنْدٍ، عَنْ عِکْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ مِثْلَهٗ، وَزَادَ، قَالَتْ: اِنَّا کُنَّا رِدءًالَکُمْ، وَلَوْ اِنْکَشَفْتُمْ اِنْکَشَفْتُمْ لَنَا.
Ikrimah narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) a similar narration, and he reported this addition: We were your supporters; if you have become prominent, it is for our sake that you have become prominent.
