Musnad Ishaq bin Rahwayh 192 — Statement about prostrating on seven
اَخْبَرَنَا (بشر)، نَا شُعْبَةُ وَمُعَاذُ (وحماد) بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، کِلَاهُمَا عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِیْنَارٍ، عَنْ طَاؤُوْسٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: اُمِرَ النَّبِیُّ صَلَّی اللّٰهُ عَلَیْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اَنْ یَّسْجُدَ عَلٰی سَبْعَةِ اَعْظُمٍ، وَلَا یَکْتِفَ شَعْرًا وَلَا ثَوْبًا.
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was commanded to prostrate on seven bones and not to gather his hair or clothes.
