Musnad Imam Shafi'i 912 — he saw Umar bin Khattab
وَعَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْهَدِيرِ: أَنَّهُ رَأَى عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ يُقَرِّدُ بَعِيرًا لَهُ فِي طِينٍ بِالسُّقْيَا، وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ.
It is narrated from Rabi'ah bin Abdullah bin Hudair that he saw Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) at the place of Suqya, in the state of Ihram, removing ticks from his camel and throwing them into the dust.
