Musnad Imam Shafi'i 560 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was bathed three
أَخْبَرَنَا بَعْضُ أَصْحَابِنَا، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ غُسِّلَ ثَلَاثًا.
It is narrated from Abu Ja'far that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was bathed three times.
