Musnad Imam Shafi'i 524 — the Prophet ﷺ said: "In every moment
أَخْبَرَنَا مَنْ لَا أَتَّهِمُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو، عَنِ الْمُطَّلِبِ بْنِ حَنْطَبٍ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: "مَا مِنْ سَاعَةٍ مِنْ لَيْلٍ وَلَا نَهَارٍ إِلَّا وَالسَّمَاءُ يُمْطَرُ فِيهَا يُصَرِّفُهُ اللَّهُ حَيْثُ يَشَاءُ" .
It is narrated from Matlub bin Hantab that the Prophet ﷺ said: "In every moment of the night and day, rain descends from the sky. Allah directs this (rain) wherever He wills."
