أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: "إِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ الْجُمُعَةِ جَلَسَ عَلَى أَبْوَابِ الْمَسْجِدِ وَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ" . أَخْرَجَ الثَّلَاثَةَ الْأَحَادِيثَ مِنْ كِتَابِ إِيجَابِ الْجُمُعَةِ وَالرَّابِعَ مِنْ كِتَابِ الْأَمَالِي.
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When it is Friday, the angels sit at the doors of the mosque." A longer hadith is mentioned further.
