Musnad Imam Shafi'i 1353 — the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "There
أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ الْأَحْوَلِ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: "لَا وَصِيَّةَ لِوَارِثٍ" .
It is narrated from Mujahid (may Allah have mercy on him) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "There is no bequest for an heir."
