أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، وَعَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُهَلَّبِ، [ ص: 298 ] عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ: أَنَّ قَوْمًا أَغَارُوا فَأَصَابُوا امْرَأَةً مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ وَنَاقَةَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَكَانَتِ الْمَرْأَةُ وَالنَّاقَةُ عِنْدَهُمْ ثُمَّ انْفَلَتَتِ الْمَرْأَةُ فَرَكِبَتِ النَّاقَةَ فَأَتَتِ الْمَدِينَةَ فَعُرِفَتْ نَاقَةُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَتْ: إِنِّي نَذَرْتُ لَأَنْ أَنْجَانِيَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهَا لَأَنْحَرَنَّهَا فَمَنَعُوهَا أَنْ تَنْحَرَهَا حَتَّى يَذْكُرُوا ذَلِكَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: "بِئْسَمَا جَزَيْتِهَا أَنْ نَجَّاكِ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهَا أَنْ تَنْحَرِيهَا لَا نَذْرَ فِي مَعْصِيَةِ اللَّهِ وَلَا فِيمَا لَا يَمْلِكُ ابْنُ آدَمَ" . وَقَالَا مَعًا أَوْ أَحَدُهُمَا فِي الْحَدِيثِ وَأَخَذَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَاقَتَهُ. أَخْرَجَ الْأَوَّلَ مِنْ كِتَابِ الْأُسَارَى وَالْغُلُولِ، وَالثَّانِيَ مِنْ كِتَابِ السَّيْرِ عَلَى الْوَاقِدِيِّ.
It is narrated from Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) that a group attacked and took away a woman from the Ansar and the she-camel of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. The woman and the she-camel were with them, then the woman escaped and mounted the she-camel. She came to Madinah and the Prophet’s ﷺ she-camel was recognized. The woman said: I had vowed that if Allah saved me on its back, I would slaughter it. The Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) stopped her from slaughtering it until she could mention this to the Prophet ﷺ. When she spoke to the Prophet ﷺ, he said: “You have given it a bad reward, that Allah saved you on its back and you wish to slaughter it. There is no vow in disobedience to Allah or concerning what the son of Adam does not own.” Imam Shafi’i (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Sufyan and Abdul Wahhab both said together, or one of them said in the hadith, that the Prophet ﷺ took hold of his she-camel.
