993 - أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عُمَرَ التُّجِيبِيُّ، أبنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ جَامِعٍ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا عَاصِمُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، ثنا لَيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «إِنَّ أَبَرَّ الْبِرِّ أَنْ يَصِلَ الرَّجُلُ أَهْلَ وُدِّ أَبِيهِ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, the greatest act of goodness is that a person maintains ties with his father's friends."
