987 - أَخْبَرَنَا هِبَةُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْخَوْلَانِيُّ، أبنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ الدُّولَابِيُّ، ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، ثنا حَجَّاجٌ، أَخْبَرَنِي شُعْبَةُ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي رَافِعٍ، عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «إِنَّ مَوْلَى الْقَوْمِ مِنْ أَنْفُسِهِمْ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Rafi’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that indeed the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Indeed, the freed slave of a people is counted among them.”
