943 - وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عُمَرَ الصَّفَّارُ، أبنا أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ الْأَعْرَابِيِّ، ثنا حَمْدَانَ الْوَرَّاقُ، ثنا جَنْدَلُ بْنُ وَالِقٍ، ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي فَرْوَةَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا يُعْجِبَنَّكُمْ إِسْلَامُ رَجُلٍ حَتَّى تَعَلَّمُوا عُقْدَةَ عَقْلِهِ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not consider anyone's Islam to be good until you know how much understanding he possesses."
