901 - أنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ، أنا الْقَاضِي أَبُو طَاهِرٍ، نا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ، نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبَانَ الْبَلْخِيُّ، نا مَعْنُ بْنُ عِيسَى، حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «لَا يَزْدَادُ الْأَمْرُ إِلَّا شِدَّةً، وَلَا الْمَالُ إِلَّا إِفَاضَةً، وَلَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ إِلَّا عَلَى شِرَارِ خَلْقِهِ»
Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: “(The affairs of the world) will only become more severe, wealth will only increase, and the Hour will be established upon the worst of Allah’s creation.”
