732 - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْفَتْحِ، مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ الْعَطَّارُ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ بَيَانِ الصَّفَّارُ، بِبَغْدَادَ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ بْنِ مُوسَى الْهَاشِمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، ثنا عَمِّي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَكْرِمُوا الشُّهُودَ، فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ يَسْتَخْرِجُ بِهِمُ الْحُقُوقَ، وَيَدْفَعُ بِهِمُ الظُّلْمَ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Honor the witnesses, for Allah, through them, grants the rights of those entitled and, by their means, prevents oppression."
