730 - أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْمَعَافِرِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ فَهْدٍ، أبنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُطَرِّفِ الْبَسْتِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ يَحْيَى بْنُ ثُمَامَةَ بْنِ حُجْرٍ الْقُرَشِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ دِينَارٍ، ثنا ابْنُ عَائِشَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: خَطَبَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ فَقَالَ: «لِيَأْخُذِ الْعَبْدُ مِنْ نَفْسِهِ لِنَفْسِهِ، وَمِنْ دُنْيَاهُ لِآخِرَتِهِ، وَمِنَ الشَّبِيبَةِ قَبْلَ الْكِبَرِ، وَمِنَ الْحَيَاةِ قَبْلَ الْمَمَاتِ، فَمَا بَعْدَ الدُّنْيَا مِنْ دَارٍ إِلَّا الْجَنَّةُ أَوِ النَّارُ»
Ibn Aisha narrates from his father, who said: The Prophet (peace be upon him) once said while delivering a sermon: "A servant should take provisions for himself from his own self, for his Hereafter from his worldly life, from his youth before his old age, and from his life before his death, for after this world there is no home except either Paradise or Hell."
