263 - أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الشَّاهِدُ، أبنا النَّاقِدُ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْحَاطِبِيُّ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْهَجَرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «عِلْمٌ لَا يَنْفَعُ كَكَنْزٍ لَا يُنْفَقُ مِنْهُ»
Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Knowledge from which no benefit is taken is like a treasure from which nothing is spent."
