Allah’s gift to the believer is the beggar at his door
Musnad ash-Shihab 149 — Allah’s gift to the believer is the beggar
149 - أَخْبَرَنَا هِبَةُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْخَوْلَانِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ جَابِرٍ، ثنا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْبُسْرِيُّ، ثنا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْقُرَشِيُّ، ثنا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «هَدِيَّةُ اللَّهِ إِلَى الْمُؤْمِنِ السَّائِلُ عَلَى بَابِهِ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah's gift to a believer is (sending) a beggar to his door."
