1248 - نا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ الْفَارِسِيُّ، أنا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الْفَرْضِيُّ، نا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْمِصْرِيُّ، نا جَبْرُونُ بْنُ عِيسَى، نا سَحْنُونُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، نا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي مُوسَى، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِخِيَارِكُمْ مِنْ شِرَارُكُمْ؟ خِيَارُكُمْ مَنْ يُؤْمَنُ شَرُّهُ وَيُرْجَى خَيْرُهُ، وَشِرَارُكُمْ مَنْ لَا يُرْجَى خَيْرُهُ وَلَا يُؤْمَنُ شَرُّهُ»
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Shall I not inform you about your good and bad people? Your good people are those from whose evil others are safe and from whom good is expected, and your bad people are those from whom good is not expected and from whose evil others are not safe."

However, the person from whom no good is expected, and in whose regard people naturally feel fear in their hearts, thinking that this person is dangerous and should be avoided, and that no good but only harm will come from him—such a person is the worst of mankind.
