It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: On the Day of Resurrection, Allah Almighty will say, "O Adam! Stand up and take out the army of Hell." He will reply, "At Your service, O Lord! What is meant by the army of Hell?" It will be commanded, "From every thousand, take out nine hundred and ninety-nine for Hell." At that time, newborn children will become old, every pregnant woman will miscarry, and you will see people as if they are intoxicated, though they will not be intoxicated, but the punishment of Allah is very severe.
The companions asked, "O Messenger of Allah! Who will be that fortunate one among us?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Nine hundred and ninety-nine will be from Gog and Magog, and one will be from you." Upon hearing this, the companions exclaimed "Allahu Akbar." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Are you not pleased that you will be one-fourth of the people of Paradise? By Allah! I hope that you will be one-fourth of the people of Paradise. I hope that you will be one-third of the people of Paradise. By Allah! I hope that you will be half of the people of Paradise." Upon this, the companions again exclaimed "Allahu Akbar." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "On that day, you will be like a white hair on a black bull or a black hair on a white bull."

On one occasion, after swearing such an oath, he said, "A people will surely appear in my Ummah whose deeds you will consider insignificant compared to your own deeds. They will recite the Qur'an, but it will not go beyond their throats. They will leave Islam just as an arrow passes through its prey." The Companions asked, "Is there any sign by which they can be recognized?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Among them will be a man on whose hand there will be a mark like a woman's breast, and their heads will be shaved." Hazrat Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) says that even more Companions have told me that Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) killed those people. The narrator says that I saw Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) in his old age when his hands were trembling, and he was saying that in my view, killing those people was more lawful than killing so many Turks.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw the companions (may Allah be pleased with them) staying behind, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You should come forward and follow me in prayer; those behind will follow you. For people will continue to stay behind until Allah will put them at the back on the Day of Resurrection."

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw a man making his mount circle around in front of the people. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever has an extra mount should give it to the one who has no mount, and whoever has extra provisions should give them to the one who has none at all, until we began to think that we had no right to anything extra.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard four things from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) which I liked very much. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade that any woman should travel for two days without a mahram or her husband, and he forbade offering nawafil prayers during two times: after Asr prayer until sunset, and after Fajr prayer until sunrise. He also forbade fasting on the days of Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Adha, and said that except for three mosques—Masjid al-Haram, Masjid al-Nabawi, and Masjid al-Aqsa—one should not make a special journey to any other mosque.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) and Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When one third of the night passes, Allah Almighty descends to the lowest heaven and announces: Who is there to supplicate to Me? Who is there to seek forgiveness from Me? Who is there to repent? A man asked: Does this announcement continue until the break of dawn? He replied: Yes!

The men dominate your gatherings, so please appoint a day for us as well, so that we may come to you?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) promised them a specific time, and there he preached and advised them, and said: "If any woman among you has three children who die, they will become a barrier for her from Hell." A woman asked: "What if there are two? For I have lost two children." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Even if there are two, the same ruling applies."

Ibn Wadak, may Allah have mercy on him, says that when I heard this hadith from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri, may Allah be pleased with him, I made a vow that I would not drink nabidh, that a young man was brought to the service of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, in a state of intoxication. He said that he had not drunk wine, but had drunk water of raisins and dates that had been kept in a jug. By the order of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, he was beaten with hands and shoes, and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade making nabidh by mixing raisins and dates in a jug.
Hadith 11298
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Where there are three people, at the time of prayer one of them should become the imam, and the one most deserving of leading them is the one who knows the most Qur'an among them.
Hadith 11299
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When any one of you is praying, he should not let anyone pass in front of him and should stop him as much as possible. If he does not stop, then fight him, for he is a devil.
