Hadith 11223
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The earth will be filled with oppression and injustice, then a man from my Ahl al-Bayt will emerge, he will fill the earth with justice and fairness just as it was previously filled with oppression and injustice, and he will remain for seven or nine years.
Hadith 11224
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Soon there will be rulers over you with whom hearts will be content and bodies will be gentle towards them. After that, there will be rulers with whom hearts will be uneasy and bodies will tremble. A man asked, "O Messenger of Allah! Should we fight against such rulers?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "No, as long as they establish prayer."
Hadith 11225
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that once Hazrat Jibreel came to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and asked, "O Muhammad! Have you fallen ill?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied, "Yes!" Upon this, Hazrat Jibreel said, "I recite over you in the name of Allah, from every thing that harms you, and from the evil of every soul and the evil eye. May Allah grant you healing. I recite over you in the name of Allah."
Hadith 11226
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to eat something before going to the Eidgah on the day of Eid al-Fitr, and he did not offer any nawafil before the Eid prayer. When he had performed the Eid prayer, then he would offer two rak'ahs.
Hadith 11227
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: If a man approaches his wife, then wishes to approach her again, he should perform ablution.
Hadith 11228
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said regarding the captives of the Battle of Autas: No person should have intercourse with a pregnant slave woman until she gives birth, and if she is not pregnant, then he should not have intercourse with her until one menstrual cycle has passed.
Hadith 11229

هَارُون قال عبد الله بن أحمد : وسَمِعْته أَنَا مِنْ هَارُونَ ، حَدَّثَنَا
ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي
عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ
بُكَيْرِ بْنِ الْأَشَجِّ ، عَنْ
عَبِيدَةَ بْنِ مُسَافِعٍ ، عَنْ
أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : بَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقْسِمُ شَيْئًا ، أَقْبَلَ رَجُلٌ فَأَكَبَّ عَلَيْهِ ، فَطَعَنَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِعُرْجُونٍ كَانَ مَعَهُ ، فَجُرِحَ بِوَجْهِهِ ، فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " تَعَالَ فَاسْتَقِدْ " ، قَالَ : قَدْ عَفَوْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that one day the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was distributing something, when a man came from the front and stood bowing before the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) pricked him with a stick that was with him, which caused a wound on his face. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him, "Come forward and take retribution from me." He said, "O Messenger of Allah! I have forgiven you."
Hadith 11230
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If any one of you performs a deed while hiding in a closed rock which has neither an opening nor a window, even then that deed of his will come before the people. Whatever the deed may be (good or bad).
Hadith 11230M
(حديث مرفوع) (حديث موقوف) عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " لَوْ أَنَّ دَلْوًا مِنْ غَسَّاقٍ يُهَرَاقُ فِي الدُّنْيَا لَأَنْتَنَ أَهْلَ الدُّنْيَا " .
And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said that if a bucket of "Ghassaq" (the water of Hell) were to be poured out on the earth, its stench would spread throughout the whole world.
Hadith 11230M
(حديث مرفوع) (حديث موقوف) وَعَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " يَأْكُلُ التُّرَابُ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ مِنَ الْإِنْسَانِ إِلَّا عَجْبَ ذَنَبِهِ " ، قِيلَ وَمِثْلُ مَا هُوَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ؟ ، قَالَ : " مِثْلُ حَبَّةِ خَرْدَلٍ مِنْهُ تَنْبُتُونَ " .
And the Prophet (peace be upon him) said that the earth consumes everything of the human except the coccyx (tailbone). Someone asked, "O Messenger of Allah! How much of the coccyx remains?" He replied, "As much as a mustard seed, and from that you will be resurrected again."
Hadith 11231
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Soon there will be rulers over you with whom hearts will be content and bodies will be gentle towards them. ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا
دَرَّاجٌ ، عَنْ
أَبِي الْهَيْثَمِ ، عَنْ
أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " مَقْعَدُ الْكَافِرِ فِي النَّارِ مَسِيرَةُ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ ، وَكُلُّ ضِرْسٍ مِثْلُ أُحُدٍ ، وَفَخِذُهُ مِثْلُ وَرِقَانَ ، وَجِلْدُهُ سِوَى لَحْمِهِ وَعِظَامِهِ أَرْبَعُونَ ذِرَاعًا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: In Hell, the place where a disbeliever sits will be spread out to the distance of a three-day journey. Each molar tooth will be as large as Mount Uhud, the thighs will be as large as Mount Wurqan, and after removing the flesh and bones, only the skin will be forty cubits thick.
Hadith 11233
(حديث مرفوع) (حديث موقوف) وَعَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " لَوْ أَنَّ مِقْمَعًا مِنْ حَدِيدٍ وُضِعَ فِي الْأَرْضِ ، فَاجْتَمَعَ لَهُ الثَّقَلَانِ مَا أَقَلُّوهُ مِنَ الْأَرْضِ " .
And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If an iron mace is taken out from Hell and placed upon the earth, and all mankind and jinn are gathered together, even then they would not be able to move it from the earth.
Hadith 11234
(حديث مرفوع) (حديث موقوف) وَعَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " لِسُرَادِقِ النَّارِ أَرْبَعُ جُدُرٍ كَثُفَ ، كُلِّ جِدَارٍ مِثْلُ مَسِيرَةِ أَرْبَعِينَ سَنَةً .
And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The walls of Hell will be equal to four walls, each of which will have a thickness equal to the distance of forty years.
Hadith 11235
(حديث مرفوع) (حديث موقوف) وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " الشِّيَاعُ حَرَامٌ " ، قَالَ ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ : يَعْنِي بِهِ الَّذِي يَفْتَخِرُ بِالْجِمَاعِ .
And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: It is forbidden to boast about having intercourse with a woman and to mention it before people.
Hadith 11236
(حديث مرفوع) (حديث موقوف) وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ لِلْجَنَّةِ مِائَةَ دَرَجَةٍ ، لَوْ أَنَّ الْعَالَمِينَ اجْتَمَعُوا فِي إِحْدَاهُنَّ لَوَسِعَتْهُمْ " .
And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Paradise has one hundred levels; if all the people of the worlds were to gather in one of its levels, it would still be sufficient for them.
Hadith 11237
(حديث قدسي) (حديث موقوف) وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ قَالَ : وَعِزَّتِكَ يَا رَبِّ ، لَا أَبْرَحُ أُغْوِي عِبَادَكَ مَا دَامَتْ أَرْوَاحُهُمْ فِي أَجْسَادِهِمْ ، قَالَ الرَّبُّ : وَعِزَّتِي وَجَلَالِي لَا أَزَالُ أَغْفِرُ لَهُمْ مَا اسْتَغْفَرُونِي " .
And the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Satan said, "My Lord! By Your honor, I will continue to mislead Your servants as long as their souls remain in their bodies." And the Lord of the worlds said, "By My honor and majesty! I will continue to forgive them as long as they keep seeking forgiveness from Me."
Hadith 11238
(حديث مرفوع) (حديث موقوف) وَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ إِنَّهُ لَيَخْتَصِمُ حَتَّى الشَّاتَانِ فِيمَا انْتَطَحَا " .
And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: By Him in Whose Hand is my soul, on the Day of Resurrection people will dispute, even two goats that had butted each other.
Hadith 11239
(حديث مرفوع) (حديث موقوف) وَعَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " مَا بَيْنَ مِصْرَاعَيْنِ فِي الْجَنَّةِ كَمَسِيرَةِ أَرْبَعِينَ سَنَةً " .
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The distance between the two panels (doors) of the gate of Paradise is the span of forty years.
Hadith 11240
(حديث مرفوع) (حديث موقوف) قَالَ : وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَصْدَقُ الرُّؤْيَا بِالْأَسْحَارِ " .
And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The truest dreams are those that are seen at the time of Sahar (pre-dawn).
Hadith 11241
(حديث مرفوع) (حديث موقوف) وَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " لَوْ يَعْلَمُ النَّاسُ مَا فِي التَّأْذِينِ لَتَضَارَبُوا عَلَيْهِ بِالسُّيُوفِ " .
And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If people knew the reward for giving the call to prayer (adhan), they would fight each other with swords to give the adhan.
Hadith 11242
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) reached Marr az-Zahran in the year of the conquest of Makkah, he informed us about facing the enemy and ordered us to break our fast, so all of us broke our fast.
Hadith 11243
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The obligation of ghusl (ritual bath) is due to the discharge of the fluid of life.
Hadith 11244
(حديث قدسي) حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا
أَبُو سَلَمَةَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا
لَيْثٌ ، عَنْ
يَزِيدَ بْنِ الْهَادِ ، عَنْ
عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ
أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " إِنَّ إِبْلِيسَ ، قَالَ لِرَبِّهِ : بِعِزَّتِكَ وَجَلَالِكَ لَا أَبْرَحُ أُغْوِي بَنِي آدَمَ 56 مَا دَامَتْ الْأَرْوَاحُ فِيهِمْ ، فَقَالَ اللَّهُ : فَبِعِزَّتِي وَجَلَالِي لَا أَبْرَحُ أَغْفِرُ لَهُمْ مَا اسْتَغْفَرُونِي " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: Satan said, "O Lord! By Your honor, I will continue to mislead Your servants as long as their souls remain in their bodies." And the Lord of the worlds said, "By My honor and majesty! As long as they keep seeking forgiveness from Me, I will continue to forgive them."
Hadith 11245
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: On the Day of Resurrection, Allah Almighty will ask the servant, "When you saw a sinful act being committed, why did you not stop it?" Then the one to whom Allah grants an argument will say, "O Lord! I hoped for Your forgiveness but I was afraid of the people."
Hadith 11246
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا
أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا
أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ ، عَنْ
أَبِي سَعِيدٍ مَوْلَى الْمَهْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : تُوُفِّيَ أَخِي ، وَأَتَيْتُ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ 63 ، فَقُلْتُ : يَا
أَبَا سَعِيدٍ ، إِنَّ أَخِي تُوُفِّيَ ، وَتَرَكَ عِيَالًا ، وَلِي عِيَالٌ ، وَلَيْسَ لَنَا مَالٌ ، وَقَدْ أَرَدْتُ أَنْ أَخْرُجَ بِعِيَالِي وَعِيَالِ أَخِي حَتَّى نَنْزِلَ بَعْضَ هَذِهِ الْأَمْصَارِ ، فَيَكُونَ أَرْفَقَ عَلَيْنَا فِي مَعِيشَتِنَا ، قَالَ : وَيْحَكَ لَا تَخْرُجْ ، فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُهُ ، يَقُولُ : يَعْنِي النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ صَبَرَ عَلَى لَأْوَائِهَا وَشِدَّتِهَا كُنْتُ لَهُ شَفِيعًا ، أَوْ شَهِيدًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " .
Abu Sa'id, may Allah have mercy on him, who was the freed slave of Mahri, says: When my brother passed away, I went to Hazrat Abu Sa'id Khudri, may Allah be pleased with him, and said, "O Abu Sa'id! My brother has passed away, and he has left behind children. I also have my own children, and we do not have any money. I am thinking of taking my children and my brother's children and moving to another city so that our livelihood may become stable." He replied, "I am sorry for your thinking. Do not leave from here, because I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: Whoever is patient with the hardships and difficulties of Madinah, I will intercede for him on the Day of Resurrection."
Hadith 11247
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا
إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عِيسَى ، حَدَّثَنِي
حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ
بِشْرِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ ، أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ أَتَى أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ 63 ، فَقَالَ يَا أَبَا سَعِيدٍ ، أَلَمْ أُخْبَرْ أَنَّكَ بَايَعْتَ أَمِيرَيْنِ مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ يَجْتَمِعَ النَّاسُ عَلَى أَمِيرٍ وَاحِدٍ ، قَالَ : نَعَمْ ، بَايَعْتُ ابْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ ، فَجَاءَ أَهْلُ الشَّامِ ، فَسَاقُونِي إِلَى جَيْشِ بْنِ دَلَحَةَ فَبَايَعْتُهُ ، فَقَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ : إِيَّاهَا كُنْتُ أَخَافُ ، إِيَّاهَا كُنْتُ أَخَافُ وَمَدَّ بِهَا حَمَّادٌ صَوْتَهُ ، قَالَ
أَبُو سَعِيدٍ : يَا
أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، أَوَلَمْ تَسْمَعْ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " مَنْ اسْتَطَاعَ أَنْ لَا يَنَامَ نَوْمًا ، وَلَا يُصْبِحَ صَبَاحًا ، وَلَا يُمْسِيَ مَسَاءً إِلَّا وَعَلَيْهِ أَمِيرٌ ؟ " ، قَالَ : نَعَمْ ، وَلَكِنِّي أَكْرَهُ أَنْ أُبَايِعَ أَمِيرَيْنِ مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ يَجْتَمِعَ النَّاسُ عَلَى أَمِيرٍ وَاحِدٍ .
Bishr bin Harb says that once Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) came to Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) and said, "I have come to know that you pledged allegiance to two leaders before there was consensus on one leader?" He replied, "Yes! I pledged allegiance to Ibn Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him), then the people of Syria came and dragged me to the army of Ibn Dillah, so I was compelled to pledge allegiance to him as well." Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "This is exactly what I fear (he said it twice)." Then Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "O Abdur Rahman! Did you not hear the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that whoever has the ability that no sleep passes, no morning or evening comes upon him except that he has a ruler over him, then he should do so?" He replied, "Yes! I have heard it, but I dislike pledging allegiance to two leaders before there is consensus on one leader among the people."
Hadith 11248
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) wore a new garment, he would first mention its name, for example, shirt or turban, then he would recite this supplication: O Allah! All praise is due to You, for You have clothed me with this garment. I ask You for its goodness and the goodness of what it was made for, and I seek refuge with You from its evil and the evil of what it was made for.
Hadith 11249
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Once Hazrat Jibreel (peace be upon him) led me in prayer. So he led the Zuhr prayer at the time when the sun had declined, the Asr prayer at the time when the shadow was equal to the object, the Maghrib prayer at sunset, the Isha prayer after the disappearance of twilight, and the Fajr prayer after the dawn had appeared. Then the next day he came again and led the Zuhr prayer when the shadow of everything had become equal to it, the Asr prayer when the shadow was twice its length, the Maghrib prayer at sunset, the Isha prayer in the first third of the night, and the Fajr prayer at the time when the sun was about to rise, and he said: The time for prayer is between these two times.
Hadith 11250
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: On the day of Friday, it is obligatory upon every adult person to perform ghusl, use miswak, and apply perfume according to his means, even if it is from his own house.
Hadith 11251
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade fasting continuously without breaking the fast (wisal). The companions said, "O Messenger of Allah! You fast continuously like this?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "In this matter, I am not like you. I spend the night in such a state that my Lord Himself feeds and gives me drink."
Hadith 11252

مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ ، حَدَّثَنَا
كَثِيرُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ
رُبَيْحِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، عَنْ
أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ
جَدِّهِ ، قَالَ : كُنَّا نَتَنَاوَبُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَنَبِيتُ عِنْدَهُ تَكُونُ لَهُ الْحَاجَةُ أَوْ يَطْرُقُهُ أَمْرٌ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ ، فَيَبْعَثُنَا فَيَكْثُرُ الْمُحْتَسِبُونَ وَأَهْلُ النُّوَبِ ، فَكُنَّا نَتَحَدَّثُ ، فَخَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ ، فَقَالَ : " مَا هَذِهِ النَّجْوَى ، أَلَمْ أَنْهَكُمْ عَنِ النَّجْوَى ؟ " ، قَالَ : قُلْنَا : نَتُوبُ إِلَى اللَّهِ يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ ، إِنَّمَا كُنَّا فِي ذِكْرِ الْمَسِيحِ فَرَقًا مِنْهُ ، فَقَالَ : " أَلَا أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِمَا هُوَ أَخْوَفُ عَلَيْكُمْ مِنَ الْمَسِيحِ عِنْدِي ؟ " ، قَالَ : قُلْنَا : بَلَى ، قَالَ : " الشِّرْكُ الْخَفِيُّ أَنْ يَقُومَ الرَّجُلُ يَعْمَلُ لِمَكَانِ رَجُلٍ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that we used to take turns staying with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) at night, so that if the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) needed anything or had any work at night, he could send us. Sometimes, a considerable number of those seeking this reward and those whose turn it was would gather together, and in such a situation, we would talk among ourselves. Once, during the night, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to us and said, "What are these whispers? Did I not forbid you from whispering?" We said, "O Messenger of Allah! We repent. Actually, we were mentioning Dajjal and we are afraid of him." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Shall I not tell you something which, in my view, is more dangerous for you than Dajjal?" We said, "Why not?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "It is hidden shirk: that a person stands up for an action because of another person."
Hadith 11253
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: There is no zakat on less than five camels, no zakat on less than five uqiyah of silver, and no zakat on less than five wasq of wheat.
Hadith 11254
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Soon the best wealth of a Muslim will be "goats," which he will take to the tops of mountains and places where rain falls, fleeing with his religion from tribulations.
Hadith 11255
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا
ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، أَنْبَأَنَا
الْأَعْمَشُ ، عَنْ
عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ ، عَنْ
أَبِي الْبَخْتَرِيِّ ، عَنْ
أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَا يَحْقِرَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ نَفْسَهُ أَنْ يَرَى أَمْرًا لِلَّهِ عَلَيْهِ فِيهِ مَقَالًا ، ثُمَّ لَا يَقُولُهُ ، فَيَقُولُ اللَّهُ : مَا مَنَعَكَ أَنْ تَقُولَ فِيهِ ؟ ، فَيَقُولُ : رَبي ، خَشِيتُ النَّاسَ ، فَيَقُولُ : وَأَنَا أَحَقُّ أَنْ يُخْشَى " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: None of you should consider himself so insignificant that he withholds saying a word for the sake of Allah’s pleasure when he has the right to say it, but does not say it. For Allah will ask him: What prevented you from saying that word? The servant will say: My Lord! I was afraid of the people. Allah will say: I was more deserving that you should fear Me.
Hadith 11256
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The lower garment of a Muslim should be till the middle of the shin; there is no harm if it is between the shin and the ankles, but the part of the lower garment which is below the ankles will be in Hell.
Hadith 11257
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that once someone asked, "O Messenger of Allah! Can we perform ablution with the water of the well of Buda'ah?" In fact, dirty clothes of women, other foul things, and the flesh of dogs were thrown into the well. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Water is pure; nothing can make it impure."
Hadith 11258
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that once we were sitting with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Some people among you will fight over the interpretation and explanation of the Qur'an just as I fight over its revelation.
Hadith 11259
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا
الْأَعْمَشُ ، عَنْ
عَطِيَّةَ الْعَوْفِيِّ ، عَنْ
أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " هَلَكَ الْمُثْرُونَ " ، قَالُوا : إِلَّا مَنْ ؟ ، قَالَ : " هَلَكَ الْمُثْرُونَ " ، قَالُوا : إِلَّا مَنْ ؟ ، قَالَ : " هَلَكَ الْمُثْرُونَ " ، قَالُوا : إِلَّا مَنْ ؟ ، قَالَ : حَتَّى خِفْنَا أَنْ يَكُونَ قَدْ وَجَبَتْ ، فَقَالَ : " إِلَّا مَنْ قَالَ هَكَذَا وَهَكَذَا وَهَكَذَا ، وَقَلِيلٌ مَا هُمْ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Three people with an abundance of wealth and property have been destroyed." We became afraid. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Except for those who distribute with their own hands, giving handfuls to the right, left, and in front, but such people are very few."
Hadith 11260
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about the ruling if the offspring of a she-camel, cow, or goat dies in its womb. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If you wish, you may eat it, because the slaughtering of its mother is in fact its slaughtering as well.
