Hadith 6991
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْمُبَارَكِ ، حَدَّثَنِي أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، قَالَ : " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ الْبَيْعِ وَالِاشْتِرَاءِ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade buying and selling in the mosque.
Hadith 6992
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ ، قَالَ : وَحَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ الْمُعَلِّمُ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، قَالَ : لَمَّا فُتِحَتْ مَكَّةُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " كُفُّوا السِّلَاحَ " ، فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ يَحْيَى ، وَيَزِيدَ ، وَقَالَ فِيهِ : " وَأَوْفُوا بِحِلْفِ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ ، فَإِنَّ الْإِسْلَامَ لَمْ يَزِدْهُ إِلَّا شِدَّةً ، وَلَا تُحْدِثُوا حِلْفًا فِي الْإِسْلَامِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that on the occasion of the conquest of Makkah, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Withhold your weapons from everyone except the Banu Khuza'ah." Then the narrator mentioned the complete hadith and said: "Fulfill the agreements of the time of ignorance, for Islam has only increased their strength. However, do not make any new agreements in Islam."
Hadith 6993
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي بُكَيْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، سَمِعْتُ أَبَا أَيُّوبَ الْأَزْدِيَّ يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، قَالَ : لَمْ يَرْفَعْهُ مَرَّتَيْنِ ، قَالَ : وَسَأَلْتُهُ الثَّالِثَةَ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " وَقْتُ صَلَاةِ الظُّهْرِ مَا لَمْ يَحْضُرْ الْعَصْرُ ، وَوَقْتُ صَلَاةِ الْعَصْرِ ، مَا لَمْ تَصْفَرَّ الشَّمْسُ ، وَوَقْتُ صَلَاةِ الْمَغْرِبِ مَا لَمْ يَسْقُطْ نُورُ الشَّفَقِ ، وَوَقْتُ صَلَاةِ الْعِشَاءِ إِلَى نِصْفِ اللَّيْلِ ، وَوَقْتُ صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ مَا لَمْ تَطْلُعْ الشَّمْسُ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The time for Zuhr remains until the time for Asr begins. The time for Asr is until the sun turns yellow. The time for Maghrib is until the twilight disappears. The time for Isha is until the first half of the night. The time for Fajr is from the appearance of dawn until the sun rises."
Hadith 6994
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الطَّالْقَانِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ مُبَارَكٍ ، عَنْ لَيْثِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي عَامِرُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْحُبُلِيِّ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَمْرِو بْنِ العاص ، يَقُولُ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يَسْتَخْلِصُ رَجُلًا مِنْ أُمَّتِي عَلَى رُءُوسِ الْخَلَائِقِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ، فَيَنْشُرُ عَلَيْهِ تِسْعَةً وَتِسْعِينَ سِجِلًّا ، كُلُّ سِجِلٍّ مَدَّ الْبَصَرِ ، ثُمَّ يَقُولُ لَهُ : أَتُنْكِرُ مِنْ هَذَا شَيْئًا ؟ أَظَلَمَتْكَ كَتَبَتِي الْحَافِظُونَ ؟ قَالَ : لَا ، يَا رَبِّ ، فَيَقُولُ : أَلَكَ عُذْرٌ ، أَوْ حَسَنَةٌ ؟ فَيُبْهَتُ الرَّجُلُ ، فَيَقُولُ : لَا ، يَا رَبِّ ، فَيَقُولُ : بَلَى ، إِنَّ لَكَ عِنْدَنَا حَسَنَةً وَاحِدَةً ، لَا ظُلْمَ الْيَوْمَ عَلَيْكَ ، فَتُخْرَجُ لَهُ بِطَاقَةٌ ، فِيهَا أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ ، وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ ، فَيَقُولُ : أَحْضِرُوهُ ، فَيَقُولُ : يَا رَبِّ ، مَا هَذِهِ الْبِطَاقَةُ مَعَ هَذِهِ السِّجِلَّاتِ ؟ ! فَيُقَالُ : إِنَّكَ لَا تُظْلَمُ ، قَالَ : فَتُوضَعُ السِّجِلَّاتُ فِي كَفَّةٍ ، قَالَ : فَطَاشَتْ السِّجِلَّاتُ ، وَثَقُلَتْ الْبِطَاقَةُ ، وَلَا يَثْقُلُ شَيْءٌ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "On the Day of Resurrection, Allah will bring forth one of my followers before all of creation and will open for him ninety-nine registers, each register stretching as far as the eye can see. Allah will say to him, 'Do you deny any of this? Did My recording angels wrong you in any way?' He will reply, 'No, O Lord.' Allah will say, 'Do you have any excuse or any good deed?' The man, bewildered, will say, 'No, O Lord.' Allah will say, 'On the contrary, you have one good deed with Us. Today you will not be wronged.' Then a slip of paper will be brought out, on which will be written: 'I bear witness that there is no deity except Allah, and that Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is His servant and Messenger.' Allah will say, 'Bring it to the scale.' The man will say, 'O Lord, what is this slip of paper compared to these great registers?' He will be told, 'Today you will not be wronged.' So the registers will be placed on one side of the scale, and the slip of paper on the other side; the side with the registers will be lifted, and the side with the slip of paper will weigh down, for nothing is heavier than the name of Allah, Who is the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate."
Hadith 6995
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ ، عَنْ لَيْثِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي جَعْفَرُ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ ، عَنْ بَكْرِ بْنِ سَوَادَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ حَدَّثَهُ ، قَالَ : قَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : " لَا يَدْخُلَنَّ رَجُلٌ عَلَى مُغِيبَةٍ ، إِلَّا وَمَعَهُ غَيْرُهُ " ، قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو : فَمَا دَخَلْتُ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ الْمَقَامِ عَلَى مُغِيبَةٍ ، إِلَّا وَمَعِي وَاحِدٌ أَوْ اثْنَانِ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "After today, no man should go alone to any woman whose husband is present, except that there is with him one or two other men." Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, says that after this, I never went alone to any woman except that there were one or two men with me.
Hadith 6996
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَتَّابُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُبَارَكٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ شَوْذَبٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي عَامِرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَاحِدِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ العاص ، قَالَ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَقْسِمَ غَنِيمَةً أَمَرَ بِلَالًا رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُ ، فَنَادَى ثَلَاثًا ، فَأَتَى رَجُلٌ بِزِمَامٍ مِنْ شَعَرٍ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، بَعْدَ أَنْ قَسَمَ الْغَنِيمَةَ ، فَقَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، هَذِهِ مِنْ غَنِيمَةٍ كُنْتُ أَصَبْتُهَا ، قَالَ : " أَمَا سَمِعْتَ بِلَالًا يُنَادِي ثَلَاثًا ؟ " قَالَ : نَعَمْ ، قَالَ : " فَمَا مَنَعَكَ أَنْ تَأْتِيَنِي بِهِ ؟ " فَاعْتَلَّ لَهُ ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنِّي لَنْ أَقْبَلَهُ ، حَتَّى تَكُونَ أَنْتَ الَّذِي تُوَافِينِي بِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) intended to distribute the spoils of war, he would order Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him), who would announce three times. Once, after the distribution of the spoils of war, a man came to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) with a bridle made of hair and said, "O Messenger of Allah! This is from the spoils of war that I received." The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Did you not hear Bilal's announcement three times?" He said, "Yes, I heard." The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Then what prevented you from coming to us at that time?" He offered some excuse. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I cannot accept any excuse from you. Now, on the Day of Resurrection, you will bring this to me."
Hadith 6997
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَتَّابٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَامَ الْفَتْحِ ، وَهُوَ بِمَكَّةَ ، يَقُولُ : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ حَرَّمَ بَيْعَ الْخَمْرِ وَالْمَيْتَةَ وَالْخِنْزِيرَ " ، فَقِيلَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، أَرَأَيْتَ شُحُومَ الْمَيْتَةِ ، فَإِنَّهُ يُدْهَنُ بِهَا السُّفُنُ ، وَيُدْهَنُ بِهَا الْجُلُودُ ، وَيَسْتَصْبِحُ بِهَا النَّاسُ ؟ فَقَالَ : " لَا ، هِيَ حَرَامٌ " ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : " قَاتَلَ اللَّهُ الْيَهُودَ ، إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَمَّا حَرَّمَ عَلَيْهِمْ الشُّحُومَ ، جَمَلُوهَا ، ثُمَّ بَاعُوهَا ، وَأَكَلُوا أَثْمَانَهَا " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in Makkah Mukarramah in the year of the conquest of Makkah saying: Allah and His Messenger have declared the sale of alcohol, carrion, and swine to be forbidden. Someone asked, "O Messenger of Allah! Tell us, what is the ruling regarding the fat of carrion? For it is applied to ships and skins, and people use it to light lamps." The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: "No, it is forbidden." Then he said: "May Allah curse the Jews! When Allah forbade them the fat, they melted it, beautified it, sold it, and consumed its price."
Hadith 6998
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَتَّابُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، " أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، كَانَ لَا يُصَافِحُ النِّسَاءَ فِي الْبَيْعَةِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, did not shake hands with women when taking their pledge of allegiance.
Hadith 6999
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَتَّابٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " لَا يَحِلُّ لِرَجُلٍ أَنْ يُفَرِّقَ بَيْنَ اثْنَيْنِ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِمَا " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "It is not lawful for any person to intrude and sit among people without their permission."
Hadith 7000
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا رَجَاءٌ أَبُو يَحْيَى ، حَدَّثَنَا مُسَافِعُ بْنُ شَيْبَةَ ، سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو ، يَقُولُ : فَأَنْشُدُ بِاللَّهِ ثَلَاثًا ، وَوَضَعَ إِصْبَعَهُ فِي أُذُنَيْهِ ، لَسَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ ، يَقُولُ : " إِنَّ الرُّكْنَ ، وَالْمَقَامَ يَاقُوتَتَانِ مِنْ يَاقُوتِ الْجَنَّةِ ، طَمَسَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ نُورَهُمَا ، وَلَوْلَا أَنَّ اللَّهَ طَمَسَ نُورَهُمَا ، لَأَضَاءَتَا مَا بَيْنَ الْمَشْرِقِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ " .
Sayyiduna Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) swore by Allah three times and placed his fingers on his ears and said: "I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: The Black Stone and Maqam Ibrahim are two rubies from Paradise. Allah has extinguished their light. If Allah had not extinguished their light, they would have illuminated all the space between the East and the West."
Hadith 7001
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنِي يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَبِيبٌ الْمُعَلِّمُ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، أَنَّ أَعْرَابِيًّا أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : إِنَّ لِي مَالًا وَوَالِدًا ، وَإِنَّ وَالِدِي يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَجْتَاحَ مَالِي ؟ قَالَ : " أَنْتَ وَمَالُكَ لِوَالِدِكَ ، إِنَّ أَوْلَادَكُمْ مِنْ أَطْيَبِ كَسْبِكُمْ ، فَكُلُوا مِنْ كَسْبِ أَوْلَادِكُمْ " ، قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد الرَّحْمَنِ هو عَبْدُ اللهَ بن احمد : بَلَغَنِي أَنَّ حَبِيبًا الْمُعَلِّمَ يُقَالُ لَهُ : حَبِيبُ بْنُ أَبِي بَقِيَّةَ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that a Bedouin came to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said, "I have wealth and children, but my father wants to take possession of my wealth." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You and your wealth belong to your father. Your children are the purest of your earnings, so you may consume from the earnings of your children."
Hadith 7002
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَبِيبٌ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " يَحْضُرُ الْجُمُعَةَ ثَلَاثَةٌ : فَرَجُلٌ حَضَرَهَا يَلْغُو ، فَذَاكَ حَظُّهُ مِنْهَا ، وَرَجُلٌ حَضَرَهَا بِدُعَاءٍ ، فَهُوَ رَجُلٌ دَعَا اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ ، فَإِنْ شَاءَ أَعْطَاهُ ، وَإِنْ شَاءَ مَنَعَهُ ، وَرَجُلٌ حَضَرَهَا بِإِنْصَاتٍ وَسُكُوتٍ ، وَلَمْ يَتَخَطَّ رَقَبَةَ مُسْلِمٍ ، وَلَمْ يُؤْذِ أَحَدًا ، فَهِيَ كَفَّارَةٌ إِلَى الْجُمُعَةِ الَّتِي تَلِيهَا ، وَزِيَادَةُ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ ، فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ يَقُولُ : مَنْ جَاءَ بِالْحَسَنَةِ فَلَهُ عَشْرُ أَمْثَالِهَا سورة الأنعام آية 160 .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Three types of people come to the Friday (prayer). One man is the one who participates in the prayer and supplication; this man has called upon his Lord, now it is up to Him whether He grants him or not. The second man is the one who comes quietly and joins in, does not step over the necks of any Muslim, nor causes harm to anyone; for him, it will be an expiation for his sins until the next Friday and for three more days, because Allah Almighty says: Whoever brings a good deed will have ten times its reward." And the third man is the one who remains engaged in idle activities; this is his share.
Hadith 7003
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ ، عَنْ شَهْرٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " مَنْ شَرِبَ الْخَمْرَ فَاجْلِدُوهُ ، وَمَنْ شَرِبَ الثَّانِيَةَ فَاجْلِدُوهُ ، ثُمَّ إِنْ شَرِبَ الثَّالِثَةَ فَاجْلِدُوهُ ، ثُمَّ إِنْ شَرِبَ الرَّابِعَةَ فَاقْتُلُوهُ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever drinks alcohol, flog him. If he drinks again, then flog him. If he drinks a third time, then flog him. And on the fourth occasion, he said: 'Kill him.'"

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعْدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " إِنَّ أَكْبَرَ الْكَبَائِرِ عُقُوقُ الْوَالِدَيْنِ " ، قَالَ : قِيلَ : وَمَا عُقُوقُ الْوَالِدَيْنِ قَالَ : " يَسُبُّ الرَّجُلُ الرَّجُلَ ، فَيَسُبُّ أَبَاهُ ، وَيَسُبُّ أُمَّهُ ، فَيَسُبُّ أُمَّهُ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "One of the major sins is that a man abuses his parents." The people asked, "O Messenger of Allah! How can a man abuse his own parents?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "He abuses another man's father, and that man in return abuses his father; and he abuses another man's mother, and that man in return abuses his mother."
Hadith 7005
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ ، وَدَاوُدَ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " مَنْ قَالَ فِي يَوْمٍ مئتي مَرَّةٍ : لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ ، وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ ، لَمْ يَسْبِقْهُ أَحَدٌ كَانَ قَبْلَهُ ، وَلَمْ يُدْرِكْهُ أَحَدٌ كَانَ بَعْدَهُ ، إِلَّا بِأَفْضَلَ مِنْ عَمَلِهِ " ، يَعْنِي : إِلَّا مَنْ عَمِلَ بِأَفْضَلَ مِنْ عَمَلِهِ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever recites these words two hundred times daily: 'There is no deity except Allah, He is alone, He has no partner, sovereignty belongs to Him and all praise is for Him, and He is powerful over everything,' no one before him will surpass him and no one after him will reach him, except one who performs a deed superior to this."
Hadith 7006
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنِي حَسَّانُ بْنُ عَطِيَّةَ ، قَالَ : أَقْبَلَ أَبُو كَبْشَةَ السَّلُولِيُّ وَنَحْنُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ ، فَقَامَ إِلَيْهِ مَكْحُولٌ ، وَابْنُ أَبِي زَكَرِيَّا ، وَأَبُو بَحْرِيَّةَ ، فَقَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " بَلِّغُوا عَنِّي وَلَوْ آيَةً ، وَحَدِّثُوا عَنْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ وَلَا حَرَجَ ، وَمَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that he heard the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, say: "Convey from me, even if it is only one verse. You may also mention the stories of Bani Israel, there is no harm in it. And whoever attributes a lie to me should prepare his abode in Hell."
Hadith 7007
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ حَرْمَلَةَ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبِي يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " الرَّاكِبُ شَيْطَانٌ ، وَالرَّاكِبَانِ شَيْطَانَانِ ، وَالثَّلَاثَةُ رَكْبٌ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "A single rider is a devil, and two riders are two devils, and three riders are [companions]."

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا رَجَاءُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُسَافِعُ بْنُ شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، وَأَدْخَلَ إِصْبَعَيْهِ فِي أُذُنَيْهِ ، لَسَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " إِنَّ الْحَجَرَ ، وَالْمَقَامَ يَاقُوتَتَانِ مِنْ يَاقُوتِ الْجَنَّةِ ، طَمَسَ اللَّهُ نُورَهُمَا ، لَوْلَا ذَلِكَ لَأَضَاءَتَا مَا بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ ، أَوْ مَا بَيْنَ الْمَشْرِقِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ " ، كَذَا قَالَ يُونُسُ : رَجَاءُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، وقَالَ عَفَّانُ : رَجَاءُ أَبُو يَحْيَى .
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا رَجَاءُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُسَافِعُ بْنُ شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، وَأَدْخَلَ إِصْبَعَيْهِ فِي أُذُنَيْهِ ، لَسَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " إِنَّ الْحَجَرَ ، وَالْمَقَامَ يَاقُوتَتَانِ مِنْ يَاقُوتِ الْجَنَّةِ ، طَمَسَ اللَّهُ نُورَهُمَا ، لَوْلَا ذَلِكَ لَأَضَاءَتَا مَا بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ ، أَوْ مَا بَيْنَ الْمَشْرِقِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ " ، كَذَا قَالَ يُونُسُ : رَجَاءُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، وقَالَ عَفَّانُ : رَجَاءُ أَبُو يَحْيَى .
Sayyiduna Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) swore by Allah three times and placed his fingers on his ears and said: "I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: The Black Stone and Maqam Ibrahim are two rubies from Paradise. Allah has extinguished their light. If Allah had not extinguished their light, they would have illuminated all the space between the East and the West."
Hadith 7008M
قَالَ عَبْد اللَّهِ بْن أَحْمَد : وحَدَّثَنَاه هُدْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا رَجَاءُ بْنُ صُبَيْحٍ أَبُو يَحْيَى الْحَرَشِيُّ ، وَالصَّوَابُ أَبُو يَحْيَى ، كَمَا قَالَ : عَفَّانُ ، وهُدْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ .
The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain of transmission.
Hadith 7009
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ بن أحمد ، حَدَّثَنَا الْقَوَارِيرِيُّ عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا رَجَاءُ أَبُو يَحْيَى ، فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ .
The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain of transmission.
Hadith 7010
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ رَبَاحٍ ، سَمِعْتُ أَبِي يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاص ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " إِنَّ أَهْلَ النَّارِ كُلُّ جَعْظَرِيٍّ جَوَّاظٍ مُسْتَكْبِرٍ ، جَمَّاعٍ مَنَّاعٍ ، وَأَهْلُ الْجَنَّةِ الضُّعَفَاءُ الْمَغْلُوبُونَ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, while mentioning the people of Hell, said: "Every ill-mannered, harsh-tempered, arrogant hoarder, and one who withholds goodness will be in Hell, and the people of Paradise will be the weak and subdued ones."
Hadith 7011
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّمَا قَرَنَ خَشْيَةَ أَنْ يُصَدَّ عَنِ الْبَيْتِ ، وَقَالَ : " إِنْ لَمْ تَكُنْ حَجَّةٌ فَعُمْرَةٌ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) combined Hajj and Umrah because he feared that he might be prevented from going to the House of Allah, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If Hajj does not take place, then we will perform Umrah only."

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي الْعَبَّاسِ ، وَحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَيَّاشِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبِيعَةَ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَطَبَ النَّاسَ عَامَ الْفَتْحِ عَلَى دَرَجَةِ الْكَعْبَةِ ، فَكَانَ فِيمَا قَالَ بَعْدَ أَنْ أَثْنَى عَلَى اللَّهِ ، أَنْ قَالَ : " يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ ، كُلُّ حِلْفٍ كَانَ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ لَمْ يَزِدْهُ الْإِسْلَامُ إِلَّا شِدَّةً ، وَلَا حِلْفَ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ ، وَلَا هِجْرَةَ بَعْدَ الْفَتْحِ ، يَدُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَاحِدَةٌ عَلَى مَنْ سِوَاهُمْ ، تَتَكَافَأُ دِمَاؤُهُمْ ، وَلَا يُقْتَلُ مُؤْمِنٌ بِكَافِرٍ ، وَدِيَةُ الْكَافِرِ كَنِصْفِ دِيَةِ الْمُسْلِمِ ، أَلَا وَلَا شِغَارَ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ ، وَلَا جَنَبَ وَلَا جَلَبَ ، وَتُؤْخَذُ صَدَقَاتُهُمْ فِي دِيَارِهِمْ يُجِيرُ عَلَى الْمُسْلِمِينَ أَدْنَاهُمْ وَيَرُدُّ عَلَى الْمُسْلِمِينَ أَقْصَاهُمْ " ، ثُمَّ نَزَلَ ، وَقَالَ حُسَيْنٌ إِنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) entered Makkah in the year of the conquest of Makkah, he stood on the steps of the Ka'bah to deliver a sermon among the people. After praising and glorifying Allah, he said among other things: "O people! All the agreements made in the time of ignorance, Islam only increases their severity, but now they have no importance in Islam, and after the conquest of Makkah, the command of migration no longer remains. Muslims are united against everyone else; the blood of all is equal. Even the lowest-ranking Muslim can grant protection, which will be honored up to the last Muslim. No Muslim will be killed in retaliation for a disbeliever, and the blood money for a disbeliever is half that of a Muslim. There is no validity in bringing the animals of zakat to oneself or in evading zakat. Zakat will be collected from Muslims in their own regions." Then the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) descended.
Hadith 7013
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ مَطَرٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " فِي الْمَوَاضِحِ خَمْسٌ خَمْسٌ مِنَ الْإِبِلِ ، وَالْأَصَابِعُ سَوَاءٌ ، كُلُّهُنَّ عَشْرٌ عَشْرٌ مِنَ الْإِبِلِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "For each finger, there are ten camels; for a wound on the head, there are five camels; and all the fingers are equal."
Hadith 7014
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ شَهْرٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " الْمَقْتُولُ دُونَ مَالِهِ شَهِيدٌ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever is killed while protecting his wealth is a martyr."
Hadith 7015
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ شُجَاعٍ أَبُو عَمْرٍو الْجَزَرِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي عَبْلَةَ الْعُقَيْلِيُّ ، مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بن عوف ، قَالَ : قَالَ : الْتَقَى عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ عَلَى الْمَرْوَةِ ، فَتَحَدَّثَا ، ثُمَّ مَضَى عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، وَبَقِيَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ يَبْكِي ، فَقَالَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ : مَا يُبْكِيكَ يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ؟ قَالَ : هَذَا يَعْنِي عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو ، زَعَمَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " مَنْ كَانَ فِي قَلْبِهِ مِثْقَالُ حَبَّةٍ مِنْ خَرْدَلٍ مِنْ كِبْرٍ ، أَكَبَّهُ اللَّهُ عَلَى وَجْهِهِ فِي النَّارِ " .
Abu Salamah narrates that once on Marwah, Sayyiduna Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) and Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) met. After a brief conversation, when Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) returned, he was crying. Someone asked him, "O Abu Abdur Rahman, why are you crying?" He replied: "Because of the hadith which he has narrated to me, that he heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: 'Whoever has even a mustard seed's weight of arrogance in his heart, Allah will throw him face down into Hell.'"
Hadith 7016
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْقُدُّوسِ بْنُ بَكْرِ بْنِ خُنَيْسٍ أَبُو الْجَهْمِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَجَّاجُ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " كُلُّ صَلَاةٍ لَا يُقْرَأُ فِيهَا فَهِيَ خِدَاجٌ ، ثُمَّ خِدَاجٌ ، ثُمَّ خِدَاجٌ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Every prayer in which there is not even a little recitation is incomplete, incomplete, incomplete."
Hadith 7017
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ ، أَخْبَرَنِي مُوسَى بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبِي ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " تَدْرُونَ مَنْ الْمُسْلِمُ ؟ " قَالُوا : اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ ، قَالَ : " مَنْ سَلِمَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ مِنْ لِسَانِهِ وَيَدِهِ " ، قَالَ : " تَدْرُونَ مَنْ الْمُؤْمِنُ ؟ " قَالُوا : اللَّهُ ، يَعْنِي وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ ، قَالَ : " مَنْ أَمِنَهُ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ عَلَى أَنْفُسِهِمْ وَأَمْوَالِهِمْ ، وَالْمُهَاجِرُ مَنْ هَجَرَ السُّوءَ فَاجْتَنَبَهُ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do you know who is a Muslim?" The companions (may Allah be pleased with them) replied, "Allah and His Messenger know best." He said: "A Muslim is the one from whose tongue and hand other Muslims are safe." Then he asked, "Do you know who is a believer?" The companions (may Allah be pleased with them) replied, "Allah and His Messenger know best." He said: "A believer is the one from whom the lives and wealth of other believers are safe. And the real emigrant is the one who abandons sins and refrains from them."
Hadith 7018
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا دُوَيْدٌ الْخُرَاسَانِيُّ ، وَالزُّبَيْرُ بْنُ عَدِيٍّ قَاعِدٌ مَعَهُ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، إِنَّا نَسْمَعُ مِنْكَ أَحَادِيثَ لَا نَحْفَظُهَا أَفَلَا نَكْتُبُهَا ؟ قَالَ : " بَلَى ، فَاكْتُبُوهَا " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that once I submitted in the court of the Messenger, "O Messenger of Allah! We hear many hadiths from you which we do not remember. Should we not write them down?" The Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Why not, you should write them down."
Hadith 7019
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ ، عَنِ الْمُثَنَّى بْنِ الصَّبَّاحِ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " كُفْرٌ بِاللَّهِ تَبَرُّؤٌ مِنْ نَسَبٍ وَإِنْ دَقَّ ، أَوْ ادِّعَاءٌ إِلَى نَسَبٍ لَا يُعْرَفُ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "To disassociate oneself from one's lineage, even to a very small extent, or to claim a lineage to which one's relation is not known, is disbelief."

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، إِنِّي أَسْمَعُ مِنْكَ أَشْيَاءَ ، أَفَأَكْتُبُهَا ؟ قَالَ : " نَعَمْ " ، قُلْتُ : فِي الْغَضَبِ وَالرِّضَا ؟ قَالَ : " نَعَمْ ، فَإِنِّي لَا أَقُولُ فِيهِمَا إِلَّا حَقًّا " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that once I submitted in the court of the Messenger, "O Messenger of Allah! Should I write down the things I hear from you?" The Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Yes!" I asked, "In both states of your pleasure and displeasure?" The Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Yes, because nothing except the truth comes out from my tongue."
Hadith 7021
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ ، عَنْ حُسَيْنٍ الْمُعَلِّمِ ، قَالَ : يَعْنِي عَبْدَ الْوَهَّابِ : وَقَدْ سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْهُ ، يَعْنِي حُسَيْنًا ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، قَالَ : رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يَنْفَتِلُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ شِمَالِهِ ، وَرَأَيْتُهُ يُصَلِّي حَافِيًا وَمُنْتَعِلًا ، وَرَأَيْتُهُ يَصُومُ فِي السَّفَرِ وَيُفْطِرُ ، وَرَأَيْتُهُ يَشْرَبُ قَاعِدًا وَقَائِمًا " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that he saw the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, both fasting and not fasting during travel. I have seen him, peace and blessings be upon him, praying both barefoot and wearing shoes. And I have seen him, peace and blessings be upon him, drinking water while standing and while sitting. And I have seen the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, returning from both the right and the left side.
Hadith 7022
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ ، حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : لَيْسَ لِي مَالٌ ، وَلِي يَتِيمٌ ؟ فَقَالَ : " كُلْ مِنْ مَالِ يَتِيمِكَ ، غَيْرَ مُسْرِفٍ وَلَا مُبَذِّرٍ ، وَلَا مُتَأَثِّلٍ مَالًا ، وَمِنْ غَيْرِ أَنْ تَقِيَ مَالَكَ " ، أَوْ قَالَ : " تَفْدِيَ مَالَكَ بِمَالِهِ " . شَكَّ حُسَيْنٌ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that a man asked the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, "I do not have any wealth, but I have an orphaned nephew." The Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "You may eat from your orphaned nephew's wealth that which does not fall under extravagance," or he said: "Do not make your wealth a ransom in exchange for his wealth."
Hadith 7023
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدَةُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، حَدَّثَنِي عَطَاءُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " يَا عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو ، فِي كَمْ تَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ ؟ " ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ : فِي يَوْمِي وَلَيْلَتِي ، قَالَ : فَقَالَ لِي : " ارْقُدْ وَصَلِّ ، وَارْقُدْ ، وَاقْرَأْهُ فِي كُلِّ شَهْرٍ " ، قَالَ : فَمَا زِلْتُ أُنَاقِصُهُ وَيُنَاقِصُنِي ، إِلَى أَنْ قَالَ : " اقْرَأْهُ فِي كُلِّ سَبْعِ لَيَالٍ " ، قَالَ أَبِي : وَلَمْ أَفْهَمْ ، وَسَقَطَتْ عَلَيَّ كَلِمَةٌ ، قَالَ : ثُمَّ قَالَ : قُلْتُ : إِنِّي أَصُومُ وَلَا أُفْطِرُ ؟ قَالَ : فَقَالَ لِي : " صُمْ وَأَفْطِرْ ، وَصُمْ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ " ، فَمَا زِلْتُ أُنَاقِصُهُ وَيُنَاقِصُنِي ، حَتَّى قَالَ : " صُمْ أَحَبَّ الصِّيَامِ إِلَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ ، صِيَامَ دَاوُدَ ، صُمْ يَوْمًا ، وَأَفْطِرْ يَوْمًا " ، فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو : لَأَنْ أَكُونَ قَبِلْتُ رُخْصَةَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ أَنْ يَكُونَ لِي حُمْرُ النَّعَمِ ، حَسِبْتُهُ شَكَّ عَبِيدَةُ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Abdullah bin Amr, in how long do you complete the recitation of the Qur'an?" I replied, "In one day and night." The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: "Sleep as well, perform prayer as well, and complete the recitation of the Qur'an once every month." I kept requesting the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) to reduce it further, and the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) kept reducing it, until the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Complete the recitation of the Qur'an once every seven nights." (My father says that here I missed a word which I could not understand.) Then I said that I always fast and never leave it. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: "Fast as well and leave it as well, and fast three days in every month." I kept requesting the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) to reduce it further, and the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) kept reducing it, until the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Fast in the way which is most beloved to Allah, and it is the way of Sayyiduna Dawud (peace be upon him), that is, fast one day and leave one day." Later, Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) said that now accepting the concession of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is more beloved to me than red camels.
Hadith 7024
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ، حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ شُعَيْبِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " لَا جَلَبَ وَلَا جَنَبَ ، وَلَا تُؤْخَذُ صَدَقَاتُهُمْ إِلَّا فِي دُورِهِمْ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: There is no validity in calling the animals of zakat to oneself or in evading zakat; zakat shall be collected from the Muslims in their own localities.
Hadith 7025
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سُفْيَانَ الْحَرَشِيُّ ، وَكَانَ ثِقَةً فِيمَا ذَكَرَ أَهْلُ بِلَادِهِ ، عَنْ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ مَوْلَى ثَقِيفٍ ، وَكَانَ مُسْلِمٌ رَجُلًا يُؤْخَذُ عَنْهُ ، وَقَدْ أَدْرَكَ ، وَسَمِعَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ حُرَيْشٍ الزُّبَيْدِيِّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ يَا أَبَا مُحَمَّدٍ ، إِنَّا بِأَرْضٍ لَسْنَا نَجِدُ بِهَا الدِّينَارَ وَالدِّرْهَمَ ، وَإِنَّمَا أَمْوَالُنَا الْمَوَاشِي ، فَنَحْنُ نَتَبَايَعُهَا بَيْنَنَا ، فَنَبْتَاعُ الْبَقَرَةَ بِالشَّاةِ نَظِرَةً إِلَى أَجَلٍ ، وَالْبَعِيرَ بِالْبَقَرَاتِ ، وَالْفَرَسَ بِالْأَبَاعِرِ ، كُلُّ ذَلِكَ إِلَى أَجَلٍ ، فَهَلْ عَلَيْنَا فِي ذَلِكَ مِنْ بَأْسٍ ؟ فَقَالَ عَلَى الْخَبِيرِ : سَقَطْتَ ، أَمَرَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ أَبْعَثَ جَيْشًا عَلَى إِبِلٍ كَانَتْ عِنْدِي ، قَالَ : فَحَمَلْتُ النَّاسَ عَلَيْهَا ، حَتَّى نَفِدَتْ الْإِبِل ، وَبَقِيَتْ بَقِيَّةٌ مِنَ النَّاسِ ، قَالَ : فَقُلْتُ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، الْإِبِلُ قَدْ نَفِدَتْ ، وَقَدْ بَقِيَتْ بَقِيَّةٌ مِنَ النَّاسِ لَا ظَهْرَ لَهُمْ ، قَالَ : فَقَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " ابْتَعْ عَلَيْنَا إِبِلًا بِقَلَائِصَ مِنْ إِبِلِ الصَّدَقَةِ إِلَى مَحِلِّهَا ، حَتَّى نُنَفِّذَ هَذَا الْبَعْثَ " ، قَالَ : فَكُنْتُ أَبْتَاعُ الْبَعِيرَ بِالْقَلُوصَيْنِ وَالثَّلَاثِ مِنْ إِبِلِ الصَّدَقَةِ إِلَى مَحِلِّهَا ، حَتَّى نَفَّذْتُ ذَلِكَ الْبَعْثَ ، قَالَ : فَلَمَّا حَلَّتْ الصَّدَقَةُ أَدَّاهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ .
Amr bin Harith (may Allah have mercy on him) says that I asked Sayyiduna Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him): "We are in a place where dinar or dirham do not circulate. We buy and sell camels and goats for a fixed period. What is your opinion about this? Is there any harm in it?" He replied: "You have asked a knowledgeable person. Once, the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) prepared an army in the hope that the camels of charity would arrive. The camels ran out and some people were left (without mounts). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: 'Buy camels for us on the condition that when the camels of charity arrive, they will be given in payment.' So I bought one camel in exchange for two camels, and sometimes in exchange for three, until I was finished, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) paid them from the camels of charity."
Hadith 7026
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ، قَالَ : ذَكَرَ عَمْرُو بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، قَالَ : " قَضَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي عَقْلِ الْجَنِينِ إِذَا كَانَ فِي بَطْنِ أُمِّهِ ، بِغُرَّةٍ عَبْدٍ أَوْ أَمَةٍ ، فَقَضَى بِذَلِكَ فِي امْرَأَةِ حَمَلِ بْنِ مَالِكِ بْنِ النَّابِغَةِ الْهُذَلِيِّ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that regarding the compensation (diyah) for a fetus, that is, a child in the mother's womb (if someone kills it), the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, decreed one "ghurra," that is, a male or female slave. This decision was made by the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, concerning the wife of Sayyiduna Haml bin Malik bin Nabigha Hudhali, may Allah be pleased with him.
Hadith 7026M
(حديث مرفوع) (حديث موقوف) وَأَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " لَا شِغَارَ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ " .
And the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is no validity of shighar marriage (exchange marriage) in Islam."
Hadith 7027
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ ، وَسَعْدٌ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ يَعْنِي مُحَمَّدًا ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، قَالَ : قَضَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " لَا شِغَارَ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, gave this ruling: "There is no validity of shighar (exchange marriage) in Islam."
Hadith 7028
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ، قَالَ : وَذَكَرَ عَمْرُو بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، قَالَ : " قَضَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي وَلَدِ الْمُتَلَاعِنَيْنِ ، أَنَّهُ يَرِثُ أُمَّهُ ، وَتَرِثُهُ أُمُّهُ ، وَمَنْ قَفَاهَا بِهِ جُلِدَ ثَمَانِينَ ، وَمَنْ دَعَاهُ وَلَدَ زِنًا جُلِدَ ثَمَانِينَ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave this ruling regarding the child of those who perform li'an: "He will be the heir of his mother and his mother will be his heir, and whoever accuses his mother will be punished with eighty lashes, and whoever calls him 'son of adultery' will also be punished with eighty lashes."
