It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once a Jewish woman came to us and said, "May Allah protect you from the punishment of the grave." When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came, I mentioned this incident to him and asked, "O Messenger of Allah! Is there punishment in the grave as well?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Yes! The punishment of the grave is true." After that, whenever I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performing any prayer, he sought refuge from the punishment of the grave in it.

It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once a freed slave of the Prophet (peace be upon him) fell from a date palm tree and died. He left behind some inheritance but did not leave any children or friends. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Give his inheritance to a man from his village."

Muhammad bin Muntashir says that he asked Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) about this issue: Can a man apply perfume to his Ihram (before making the intention for Ihram)? He replied: I would prefer to apply tar to my clothes rather than do that. He then asked Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) the same question and also mentioned Ibn Umar’s answer in detail. She said: May Allah have mercy on Abu Abdur Rahman! I myself used to apply perfume to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would go to his wives, and in the morning he would make the intention for Ihram, and the fragrance of perfume would be emanating from his Ihram.
Hadith 25422
It is narrated from Abdullah bin Shaqiq that I asked Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), "Did the Prophet (peace be upon him) fast on specific days of the month?" She replied, "Yes!"
Hadith 25423
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that she asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "If I have two neighbors, to whom should I send a gift?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "To the one whose door is closer to you."

It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) reached Makkah Mukarramah on the fourth day of Dhul-Hijjah. Shortly after, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to me and he was in a state of anger. I said, "O Messenger of Allah! Who has made you angry? May Allah cast him into Hell." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Just look, I commanded the people to do something, and then I see them hesitant. If this matter that has come before me now had come earlier, I would not have brought the sacrificial animal with me, but would have bought it here after arriving. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ended his Ihram just as the people ended their Ihram."

It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that she wanted to buy Barirah in order to set her free, but her owners made her allegiance (wala’) a condition for themselves. I mentioned this to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Buy her and set her free, for the inheritance of the slave belongs to the one who sets her free.” Also, people used to give her (Barirah) something as charity, and she would give us some of it as a gift. I mentioned this to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “It is charity for her, and for you it is a gift, so you may eat it.” The narrator says that her husband was a free man.
Hadith 25427
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that (I used to apply the best perfume I had to the Prophet ﷺ and) it is as if that scene is still before my eyes that I saw the shine of musk on the head of the Prophet ﷺ while he was in the state of Ihram.

Narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) intended to return after Hajj, he saw Hazrat Safiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) at the door of her tent, sad and distressed because her menstrual period had started. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "These women cut and shave (i.e., cause delay), you will make us stay. Did you perform the Tawaf al-Ziyarah on the 10th of Dhul-Hijjah?" She replied, "Why not?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Then there is no harm, now depart."

It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whenever a thorn pricks a Muslim or he suffers any affliction even less than that, then in return, one of his ranks is elevated and one of his sins is forgiven.

It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha that the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to say: When the time came for a prophet's soul to be taken, after their soul was taken, their reward was shown to them, then it was returned and they were given the choice whether they wished to be returned to that reward (or sent back to the world). I saw the Prophet (peace be upon him) during his illness of death, his neck had dropped, and I heard him saying: "With those upon whom Allah has bestowed His favor, such as the Prophets, the truthful, the martyrs, and the righteous, and what a good companionship they are." I understood that the Prophet (peace be upon him) had been given the choice at that moment.

Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated to Aswad bin Yazid regarding the night prayer of the Prophet (peace be upon him) that the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to sleep in the early part of the night and wake up in the last part of the night. Then, if he felt a need towards his wife, he would fulfill his need, then before touching water, he would stand up. When the first call to prayer (adhan) was given, the Prophet (peace be upon him) would quickly go and pour water over his body, and if he was not in a state of major impurity (janabah), he would only perform the ablution (wudu) for prayer and then go for the prayer.

Aswad says that once Abdullah bin Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) said to me, "Narrate to me a hadith which Umm al-Mu'mineen Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated only to you, because she used to narrate many things only to you and not to the general people." He says, "I said to him that she narrated to me a hadith, the first part of which I remember: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, 'If your people had not been close to the time of ignorance, I would have demolished the Ka'bah and brought it down to the level of the ground and made two doors for it.'" Accordingly, after becoming caliph, Abdullah bin Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) did exactly that.
Hadith 25439
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the most beloved deed to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was that which is done consistently, even if it is little.

It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said to her: "Do you know that when your people rebuilt the Kaaba, they reduced it from the foundations of Hazrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him)?" I said, "O Messenger of Allah! Then why do you not return it to the foundation of Hazrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him)?" The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "If your people were not close to the time of disbelief, I would have done so." When Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) heard this hadith, he said, "By Allah, if Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) heard this hadith from the Prophet (peace be upon him), then I think that the Prophet (peace be upon him) did not touch the two corners adjacent to the Hatim for this very reason: that the construction of the House of Allah was not completed on the foundations of Hazrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him), and the Prophet (peace be upon him) wanted that people should include the entire House of Allah in their circumambulation, according to the foundations of Hazrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him)."

Narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that on the occasion of the Farewell Pilgrimage, we set out with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). I put on the Ihram for Umrah, and I did not have a sacrificial animal with me. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) announced that whoever has sacrificial animals with him should also put on the Ihram for Hajj along with his Umrah and should open both Ihrams together. I was in my days (of menstruation). On the night of Arafah, I said, "O Messenger of Allah! I had put on the Ihram for Umrah, what should I do now in Hajj?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Undo your hair and comb it, and leave the Umrah and perform Hajj." When I completed the Hajj, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered Abdur Rahman, so he took me to Tan'eem and had me perform Umrah in place of the first Umrah.
Hadith 25442
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that after the Tawaf al-Ziyarah, Hazrat Safiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) began her menstrual period. This was mentioned to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Will this prevent us?" "Did Safiyyah not perform the Tawaf al-Ziyarah with you?" The people said, "Yes, she did." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Then depart."

It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the brother of Abu Qais, "Aflah," who was her foster uncle, sought permission to enter the house of Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) after the revelation of the verse of hijab. Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) considered him a non-mahram and refused to grant permission. When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came, she mentioned this to him. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Allow him to enter."

It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) never performed the Duha prayer, but I do perform it.
Hadith 25445
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed in a cloak which had designs and patterns on it. After finishing the prayer, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Its designs distracted me, so take this cloak to Abu Juhm and bring me a plain cloak."

It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha that once the Prophet (peace be upon him) went to the mosque and started offering prayer, people gathered and they also joined the Prophet (peace be upon him) in prayer. The next night, more people gathered than before, and the same happened on the third day. On the fourth day, so many people gathered that there was no room left in the mosque for anyone else to enter, but that day the Prophet (peace be upon him) stayed at home and did not come out. Then when he led the Fajr prayer, he said: "Your condition tonight was not hidden from me, but I feared that this prayer might become obligatory upon you and then you would not be able to perform it, and this was during Ramadan."

Also, people used to give her something as charity, and she would give us some of it as a gift. It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once we set out on a journey with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). When we reached the place of Baida or Dhat al-Hubaysh, my necklace fell and got lost somewhere. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sent some people to search for the necklace, and the people stayed there. Meanwhile, the time for prayer came and the people had no water. The people came to Hazrat Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) and said, "Look at what Aisha has done? She has made the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and the people stop at a place where there is no water." Hazrat Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) came to me while the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had his head on my thigh. He said, "You have detained the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and the people, and they do not even have water," and he scolded me severely and said to me whatever Allah willed, and he began poking his hand into my side, and I could not move because the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) blessed head was on my thigh. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) kept sleeping like that, and the people did not find water until morning. Then Allah Almighty revealed the command of tayammum (dry ablution). Upon this, Hazrat Usayd bin Hudayr (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "O family of Abu Bakr! This is not your first blessing." She says that when the camel I was riding was made to stand up, the necklace was also found underneath it.
