It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was sitting in such a way that I was sitting with him under a single sheet. In the meantime, Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) sought permission to enter. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) granted him permission and remained in the same state. Then Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) sought permission to enter. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) granted him permission and remained in the same state. Then Hazrat Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) sought permission to enter. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) covered himself with the cloth. When they had left, I said, "O Messenger of Allah! Abu Bakr and Umar sought permission from you, and you granted them permission and remained in the same state, but when Uthman sought permission, you covered yourself with the cloth?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Uthman is a very modest man. If I had permitted him to enter in that state, I feared that he would not have been able to express his need (for which he had come)."

It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once a woman came to the court of the Prophet and said, "O Messenger of Allah! I am married, but my husband has another wife, that is, I have a co-wife. Sometimes I present myself before my co-wife as if my husband has favored me greatly, and I say that he gave me such and such thing and made me wear such and such clothes. Will this be considered a lie?" The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "The one who pretends to have received something which was not given to her is like a person who wears two garments of falsehood."

Urwah narrates that someone asked Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), "What did the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) do in his house?" She replied, "He did what any one of you does. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would mend his own sandals and patch his own clothes himself."

It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that when clouds or a storm appeared, signs of concern would be visible on the blessed face of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would repeatedly enter the house and come out, moving back and forth. Someone asked the reason for this, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I do not feel at ease with this, lest there be punishment in it, because before this, a nation was punished with a storm. When those people saw the punishment, they thought it was a cloud and said: This cloud will bring us rain, but there was a painful punishment in it.

A man asked Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), "Tell me, did the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) offer Witr in the early part of the night or the last part?" She replied, "Sometimes he would offer Witr in the early part of the night and sometimes in the last part." I said "Allahu Akbar" and submitted, "Praise be to Allah who has granted ease in this matter." Then I asked, "Tell me, did the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recite aloud or silently?" She replied, "Sometimes aloud and sometimes silently." I again said "Allahu Akbar" and submitted, "Praise be to Allah who has granted ease in this matter as well."

It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to pray eleven rak'ahs after 'Isha, and when morning came, he would pray two short rak'ahs, then lie down on his right side until the muezzin would come and inform the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) of the prayer.
Hadith 25346
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to perform witr with nine rak‘ahs and then, while sitting, would offer two rak‘ahs. When he became weak, he performed witr with seven rak‘ahs and, while sitting, would offer two rak‘ahs. It is narrated from Hazrat Zurarah (may Allah be pleased with him) that Hazrat Sa‘d bin Hisham bin ‘Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) came to the service of Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her)... Then the narrator mentioned the entire hadith and said that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to pray nine rak‘ahs, and in those rak‘ahs he would not sit except after the eighth rak‘ah, and he would remember Allah, praise Him, and supplicate to Him, then he would stand up without saying salam, then stand and pray the ninth rak‘ah, then he would sit, remember Allah, praise Him, and supplicate to Him, then he would say salam, making the salam audible to us, then after saying salam, while sitting, he would pray two rak‘ahs.

Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ma'mar narrated to us, from Qatadah, from Zurara ibn Awfa, that Sa'd ibn Hisham ibn 'Amir, who was his neighbor, informed him, and he mentioned the hadith, and that he entered upon Aisha, and she mentioned from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, "that he used to pray nine rak'ahs, not sitting in them except at the eighth, where he would praise Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, remember Him, and supplicate, then rise without giving salam, then pray the ninth, then sit, praise Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, remember Him, and supplicate, then give salam in a way that we could hear, then pray two rak'ahs while sitting."

It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) never performed the Duha prayer. Sometimes, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would abandon a deed despite loving it, solely because he feared that people might start acting upon it and as a result, it would become obligatory upon them (and then they might not be able to do it). Therefore, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) preferred that there be more ease in the obligations upon the people.

It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once during the time of the Prophet, there was a solar eclipse. The Prophet (peace be upon him) began to pray and stood for a long time, then he bowed and made a long bowing, then before going into prostration he raised his head and stood for a long time, although this standing was shorter than the first one. Then he bowed and made a long bowing, but this bowing was shorter than the first one. Then he prostrated. Then he stood for the second rak'ah and did the same as he had done in the first rak'ah, but in this rak'ah the first standing was longer than the second, and the first bowing was longer than the second. In this way, the Prophet (peace be upon him) completed the prayer while the solar eclipse had ended. Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: The sun and the moon do not eclipse because of anyone's death or life, rather both are signs of Allah. Therefore, when you see this, immediately turn towards prayer.
Hadith 25352
Ma'mar said, and Hisham ibn 'Urwah informed me, from his father, from Aisha, similar to this, and he added: He said, "So if you see that, then give charity and pray."

It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) went out of the house in the middle of the night and started praying in the mosque. People gathered and they also joined the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in prayer. In the morning, people mentioned to each other that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had gone out of the house at midnight and had prayed in the mosque. Consequently, on the next night, more people gathered than before. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came out as usual and started praying, and people also joined him. The same happened on the third day. On the fourth day, so many people gathered that there was no room left in the mosque for anyone else to come, but that day the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) remained seated in the house and did not come out, until I even heard some people saying, "Prayer, prayer," but the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not come out. Then, when he led the Fajr prayer, after saying salam, he stood among the people, bore witness to the oneness of Allah and the messengership, and after saying "Amma ba'd," he said: "Your condition today is not hidden from me, but I feared that this prayer might become obligatory upon you and then you would be unable to perform it."

It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) never performed the Duha prayer. Sometimes, despite loving a certain act, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would abandon it only because he feared that people might start practicing it regularly, and as a result, it might become obligatory upon them (and then they might not be able to perform it). Therefore, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) preferred that there should be more ease in the obligations upon the people.
Hadith 25364
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was not as regular in any voluntary prayer as he was in the two rak'ahs before Fajr.
Hadith 25365
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever recites the Noble Qur'an with proficiency will be with the righteous and honorable angels, and whoever recites it with difficulty and effort will have a double reward.

It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that Barirah's husband was a free man. When Barirah was freed, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave her the choice of emancipation. She chose for herself. Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) further says that her owners wanted to sell her, but regarding the condition of wala (inheritance), the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her): "You buy her and set her free, because wala, that is, the inheritance of the slave, is the right of the one who sets the slave free."

The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain, however, there is this addition in it that Barirah's husband was a slave; if he had been free, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would never have given Barirah the choice.
