Hadith 17411
It is narrated from Hazrat Uqbah bin Aamir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Most of the hypocrites of my Ummah will be among the reciters (Qurra).
Hadith 17412
It is narrated from Hazrat Uqbah bin Aamir (may Allah be pleased with him) that once I submitted in the presence of the Messenger of Allah, "O Messenger of Allah! (peace and blessings be upon him) Is this virtue unique to Surah Al-Hajj in the entire Qur'an that it contains two prostrations?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied, "Yes! And whoever does not perform both prostrations, it is as if he has not recited this Surah at all."
Hadith 17413
It is narrated from Hazrat Uqbah bin Aamir (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: "The people have accepted Islam, and Amr bin Aas has brought faith."
Hadith 17414
It is narrated from Hazrat Uqbah bin Aamir (may Allah be pleased with him) that when this blessed verse "Fasabbih bismi rabbikal azeem" was revealed, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Include it in your bowing (ruku')" (that is why 'Subhana Rabbiyal Azeem' is said in ruku'). And when "Sabbih isma rabbikal a'la" was revealed, he said: "Include it in your prostration (sajdah)" (that is why 'Subhana Rabbiyal A'la' is said in sajdah).
Hadith 17415
It is narrated with a chain from Abu Qabeel that I have heard only the following hadith from Hazrat Uqbah (may Allah be pleased with him). It is narrated from Hazrat Uqbah (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: I fear for my ummah regarding the Book and milk. Someone asked, O Messenger of Allah! (peace and blessings be upon him) What is meant by the danger of the Book and milk? He replied: The hypocrites will learn it and will argue with the believers, and they will love milk and because of it will leave the congregation and will abandon the Friday prayers.
Hadith 17416

أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، حَدَّثَنَا
سَعِيدٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ ، حَدَّثَنِي
يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ
أَبَا الْخَيْرِ ، يَقُولُ : رَأَيْتُ أَبَا تَمِيمٍ الْجَيْشَانِيَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَرْكَعُ رَكْعَتَيْنِ حِينَ يَسْمَعُ أَذَانَ الْمَغْرِبِ ، قَالَ : فَأَتَيْتُ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ الْجُهَنِيَّ ، فَقُلْتُ لَهُ : أَلَا أُعَجِّبُكَ مِنْ أَبِي تَمِيمٍ الْجَيْشَانِيِّ ؟ يَرْكَعُ رَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ صَلَاةِ الْمَغْرِبِ وَأَنَا أُرِيدُ أَنْ أَغْمِصَهُ ، قَالَ
عُقْبَةُ :
أَمَا إِنَّا كُنَّا نَفْعَلُهُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقُلْتُ : مَا يَمْنَعُكَ الْآنَ ؟ قَالَ : الشُّغْلُ .
Abu Al-Khair says that once I saw Abu Tamim Jaishani (may Allah have mercy on him) performing two rak'ahs after hearing the adhan of Maghrib prayer, so I went to Hazrat Uqbah (may Allah be pleased with him) and said, "Are you not surprised at Abu Tamim's action that he performs two rak'ahs before Maghrib prayer?" My intention was to lower Abu Tamim in the eyes of Hazrat Uqbah (may Allah be pleased with him), but Hazrat Uqbah (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "We also used to do this during the blessed era of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)." I asked, "Then why do you not do it now?" He replied, "Because of being occupied."
Hadith 17417
It is narrated from Hazrat Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) commanded me to recite the Mu'awwidhat (the Surahs in which the words "Qul A'udhu" occur) after every prayer.

أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، ثَنَا
حَيْوَةُ ،
وَابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ، قَالَا : سَمِعْنَا
يَزِيدَ بْنَ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ ، يَقُولُ : حَدَّثَنِي
أَبُو عِمْرَانَ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ
عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ ، يَقُولُ : تَعَلَّقْتُ بِقَدَمِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، أَقْرِئْنِي سُورَةَ هُودٍ وَسُورَةَ يُوسُفَ ، فَقَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " يَا عُقْبَةُ بْنَ عَامِرٍ ،
إِنَّكَ لَمْ تَقْرَأْ سُورَةً أَحَبَّ إِلَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ ، وَلَا أَبْلَغَ عِنْدَهُ مِنْ قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ " ، قَالَ يَزِيدُ : لَمْ يَكُنْ أَبُو عِمْرَانَ يَدَعُهَا ، وَكَانَ لَا يَزَالُ يَقْرَؤُهَا فِي صَلَاةِ الْمَغْرِبِ.
It is narrated from Hazrat Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) that once I was walking behind the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), the Prophet (peace be upon him) was riding, I placed my hand on his blessed feet and requested, "Teach me Surah Hud and Surah Yusuf." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "O Uqbah, you will not recite any surah more eloquent than Surah Al-Falaq."
Hadith 17419
It is narrated from Hazrat Uqbah bin Aamir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: There is no good in the person who does not show hospitality to guests.
Hadith 17420
It is narrated from Hazrat Uqbah bin Aamir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If the Noble Qur'an is wrapped in any leather and thrown into the fire, the fire will not burn it.

زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ ، حَدَّثَنِي
أَبُو السَّمْحِ ، حَدَّثَنِي
أَبُو قَبِيلٍ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ
عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ ، يَقُولُ : إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ :
" إِنِّي أَخَافُ عَلَى أُمَّتِي اثْنَتَيْنِ : الْقُرْآنَ وَاللَّبَنَ ، أَمَّا اللَّبَنُ : فَيَبْتَغُونَ الرِّيفَ وَيَتَّبِعُونَ الشَّهَوَاتِ وَيَتْرُكُونَ الصَّلَوَاتِ ، وَأَمَّا الْقُرْآنُ : فَيَتَعَلَّمُهُ الْمُنَافِقُونَ فَيُجَادِلُونَ بِهِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Uqbah (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "I fear for my Ummah regarding the Book and milk." Someone asked, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), what is meant by the Book and the other danger?" He replied, "The hypocrites will learn it and will argue with the believers, and they will love milk and because of it they will leave the congregation and will abandon the Friday prayers."
Hadith 17422
It is narrated from Hazrat Uqbah bin Aamir (may Allah be pleased with him) that once a delegation (of ten men) came to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) accepted the allegiance of nine of them and withheld his hand from one. They asked, "O Messenger of Allah! (peace and blessings be upon him) You accepted the allegiance of nine and left this person?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "He is wearing an amulet." Upon hearing this, he put his hand into his collar and tore the amulet into pieces. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) accepted his allegiance as well and said, "Whoever hangs an amulet commits shirk (associating partners with Allah)."
Hadith 17423
It is narrated from Hazrat Uqbah bin Aamir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The expiation for a vow is the same as the expiation for an oath.
Hadith 17424
It is narrated from Hazrat Uqbah bin Aamir (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) distributed sacrificial animals among his companions, and a six-month-old lamb came to my share. I asked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) about the ruling of sacrificing it, so the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "You may sacrifice it."
Hadith 17425
حَدَّثَنَا
عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ، حَدَّثَنِي
الْأَسْلَمِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنِي
أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ ، عَنْ
عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ ، قَالَ : خَرَجْنَا مَعَ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ فِي مَخْرَجٍ خَرَجْنَاهُ ، فَحَانَتْ صَلَاةٌ ، فَسَأَلْنَاهُ أَنْ يَؤُمَّنَا ، فَأَبَى عَلَيْنَا ، وَقَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ :
" لَا يَؤُمُّ عَبْدٌ قَوْمًا إِلَّا تَوَلَّى مَا كَانَ عَلَيْهِمْ فِي صَلَاتِهِمْ ، إِنْ أَحْسَنَ فَلَهُ ، وَإِنْ أَسَاءَ فَعَلَيْهِ " .
Abu Ali Hamdani (may Allah have mercy on him) says that once I set out on a journey, and Hazrat Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) was with us. We requested him to lead us in prayer. (He refused and) said: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: Whoever leads people in prayer, offering it on time and completely, he will receive the reward as will the followers; but whoever is negligent in it, its burden will be upon him alone, not upon the followers.
Hadith 17426
It is narrated from Hazrat Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade branding (with fire), and he (peace be upon him) disliked drinking hot water. When he applied kohl, he would do so in odd numbers, and when he used incense, he would also use it in odd numbers.
Hadith 17427
It is narrated from Hazrat Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When any of you applies incense, let him do so an odd number of times, and when he applies kohl, let him also do so an odd number of times.

هَارُونُ بْنُ مَعْرُوفٍ ، قَالَ عَبْد اللَّهِ : وَأَظُنُّ أَنِّي سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْهُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا
ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي
عَمْرٌو ، أَنَّ
هِشَامَ بْنَ أَبِي رُقَيَّةَ حَدَّثَهُ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ مَسْلَمَةَ بْنَ مُخَلَّدٍ وَهُوَ قَاعِدٌ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ يَخْطُبُ النَّاسَ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ : يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ ، أَمَا لَكُمْ فِي الْعَصَبِ وَالْكَتَّانِ مَا يَكْفِيكُمْ عَنِ الْحَرِيرِ ، وَهَذَا رَجُلٌ فِيكُمْ يُخْبِرُكُمْ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قُمْ يَا عُقْبَةُ ، فَقَامَ
عُقْبَةُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ وَأَنَا أَسْمَعُ ، فَقَالَ : إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ :
" مَنْ كَذِبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ " . وَأَشْهَدُ أَنِّي سَمِعْتُهُ ، وَأَشْهَدُ أَنِّي سَمِعْتُهُ ، يَقُولُ :
" مَنْ لَبِسَ الْحَرِيرَ فِي الدُّنْيَا ، حُرِمَهُ أَنْ يَلْبَسَهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ " .
Hisham bin Abi Ruqayyah, may Allah have mercy on him, says that once Hazrat Muslamah bin Makhlad, may Allah be pleased with him, was sitting on the pulpit delivering a sermon and I was also listening. He said: O people! Is silk, 'asab, and linen not sufficient for you? There is a companion, may Allah be pleased with him, present among you who will narrate to you the hadith of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. Uqbah! Stand up. So Hazrat Uqbah, may Allah be pleased with him, stood up and I heard him say: I heard the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, say: Whoever attributes a false statement to me, let him prepare his abode in Hell. And I bear witness that I also heard the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, say: Whoever wears silk in this world will be deprived of wearing it in the Hereafter.
Hadith 17432
It is narrated from Hazrat Uqbah bin Aamir (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recite this verse on the pulpit: "And prepare against them whatever you are able of power," and then say: "Be aware! Power means archery." He said this sentence three times.
Hadith 17433
It is narrated from Hazrat Uqbah bin Aamir (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: Soon many lands will be conquered before you and Allah Almighty will suffice you, therefore no person should fail to busy himself with his arrows.
Hadith 17434
It is narrated from Hazrat Uqbah bin Aamir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: A person who dies of the disease called "Zaatul Janb" is a martyr.
Hadith 17435
It is narrated from Hazrat Uqbah bin Aamir (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: Whoever guards the Islamic borders in the way of Allah, reward will continuously be written in his record of deeds.
Hadith 17436
It is narrated from Hazrat Uqbah bin Aamir (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: The record of deeds of every deceased person is sealed, except for the person who guards the Islamic frontiers in the way of Allah; for him, reward continues to be written in his record of deeds until he is resurrected.
Hadith 17437
It is narrated from Hazrat Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said, "My mother has passed away and she has left behind some jewelry. Should I give it in charity?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked him, "Did she instruct you to do so?" He replied, "No." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Then keep your mother's jewelry safe." This is also narrated in the previous hadith with this second chain of narration.
Hadith 17438

عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ :
" تَدْنُو الشَّمْسُ مِنَ الْأَرْضِ فَيَعْرَقُ النَّاسُ ، فَمِنْ النَّاسِ مَنْ يَبْلُغُ عَرَقُهُ عَقِبَيْهِ ، وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ يَبْلُغُ إِلَى نِصْفِ السَّاقِ ، وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ يَبْلُغُ إِلَى رُكْبَتَيْهِ ، وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ يَبْلُغُ الْعَجُزَ ، وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ يَبْلُغُ الْخَاصِرَةَ ، وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ يَبْلُغُ مَنْكِبَيْهِ ، وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ يَبْلُغُ عُنُقَهُ ، وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ يَبْلُغُ وَسَطَ فِيهِ ، وَأَشَارَ بِيَدِهِ فَأَلْجَمَهَا فَاهُ : رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُشِيرُ هَكَذَا وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ يُغَطِّيهِ عَرَقُهُ " ، وَضَرَبَ بِيَدِهِ إِشَارَةً.
It is narrated from Hazrat Uqbah bin Aamir (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: On the Day of Resurrection, the sun will come extremely close to the earth, due to which people will be drenched in sweat. Thus, the sweat of some will reach up to their ankles, some up to half of their shins, some up to their knees, some up to their thighs, some up to their waists, some up to their shoulders, some up to their necks, and some will have sweat up to the middle of their mouths, and it will be in their mouths like a bridle. I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) indicating this, and some will be completely submerged in their sweat.
Hadith 17440
حَدَّثَنَا
حَسَنٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا
ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا
أَبُو عُشَّانَةَ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ
عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ :
" إِذَا تَطَهَّرَ الرَّجُلُ ، ثُمَّ أَتَى الْمَسْجِدَ يَرْعَى الصَّلَاةَ ، كَتَبَ لَهُ كَاتِبَاهُ ، أَوْ كَاتِبُهُ بِكُلِّ خُطْوَةٍ يَخْطُوهَا إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ عَشْرَ حَسَنَاتٍ ، وَالْقَاعِدُ يَرْعَى الصَّلَاةَ كَالْقَانِتِ ، وَيُكْتَبُ مِنَ الْمُصَلِّينَ مِنْ حِينِ يَخْرُجُ مِنْ بَيْتِهِ حَتَّى يَرْجِعَ إِلَيْهِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When a person performs ablution and comes to the mosque with the intention of prayer, then for every step he takes towards the mosque, an angel writes ten good deeds for him in exchange for each step. And the one who sits waiting for the prayer is like the one who is performing the prayer, and he is written among the worshippers from the time he leaves his house until he returns home.
Hadith 17441
It is narrated from Hazrat Uqbah bin Aamir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sent me to collect Zakat. I asked for permission to eat from the animals of Zakat, so the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) granted me permission.
Hadith 17442
حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا
حَسَنٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا
ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا
أَبُو عُشَّانَةَ ، عَنْ
عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " يَعْجَبُ رَبُّكَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مِنْ رَاعِي غَنَمٍ فِي رَأْسِ الشَّظِيَّةِ لِلْجَبَلِ يُؤَذِّنُ بِالصَّلَاةِ وَيُصَلِّي ، فَيَقُولُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ :
" انْظُرُوا إِلَى عَبْدِي هَذَا ، يُؤَذِّنُ وَيُقِيمُ ، يَخَافُ شَيْئًا ، قَدْ غَفَرْتُ لَهُ وَأَدْخَلْتُهُ الْجَنَّةَ " . .
It is narrated from Hazrat Uqbah bin Aamir (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: Your Lord is very pleased with that person who grazes goats in a deserted place, and when the time for prayer comes, he gives the call to prayer (adhan) and the iqamah. He fears only Me. I have forgiven him and admitted him to Paradise.

Hadith 17444
It is narrated from Hazrat Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The one who recites the Qur'an aloud is like one who gives charity openly, and the one who recites the Qur'an quietly is like one who gives charity secretly.
Hadith 17445
It is narrated from Hazrat Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to me: Recite the last two verses of Surah Al-Baqarah, for these two verses have been given to me from beneath the Throne.
Hadith 17446
It is narrated from Hazrat Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "These genealogies of yours are not a cause for fault or reproach for anyone. You are all the children of Adam and are close to one another. No one has any superiority over another except by religion or righteous deeds. It is sufficient for a person to be considered immoral if he is foul-mouthed, miserly, and cowardly."
Hadith 17447

كَعْبِ بْنِ عَلْقَمَةَ ، حَدَّثَنِي
مَوْلًى لِعُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ لِعُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ : إِنَّ لَنَا جِيرَانًا يَشْرَبُونَ الْخَمْرَ ، قَالَ : اسْتُرْ عَلَيْهِمْ ، قَالَ : مَا أَسْتُرُ عَلَيْهِمْ ! أُرِيدُ أَنْ أَذْهَبَ أَجِيءَ بِالشُّرَطِ عَلَيْهِمْ ، قَالَ : فَقَالَ لَهُ
عُقْبَةُ : وَيْحَكَ ، مَهْلًا عَلَيْهِمْ ، سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ :
" مَنْ رَأَى عَوْرَةً فَسَتَرَهَا ، كَانَ كَمَنْ اسْتَحْيَا مَوْءُودَةً مِنْ قَبْرِهَا " .
Dukhain, who was the scribe of Hazrat Uqbah (may Allah be pleased with him), narrates that once I said to Hazrat Uqbah (may Allah be pleased with him) that our neighbors drink alcohol, I am going to call the police so that they may come and arrest them. Hazrat Uqbah (may Allah be pleased with him) said, do not do so, rather advise them and warn them. The scribe did so, but they did not desist. So Dukhain again came to Hazrat Uqbah (may Allah be pleased with him) and said, I forbade them but they did not desist, and now I will surely call the police. Hazrat Uqbah (may Allah be pleased with him) said, Alas! Do not do so, because I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say that whoever conceals the faults of a Muslim, it is as if he saves a girl buried alive.
Hadith 17448
It is narrated from Hazrat Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: Whoever performs ablution and does it well, then offers prayer in such a way that he neither forgets nor is heedless in it, all his past sins will be forgiven.
Hadith 17449
It is narrated from Hazrat Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: Whoever performs ablution and does it well, then offers prayer in such a way that he neither forgets nor is heedless in it, all his past sins will be forgiven.
Hadith 17450
It is narrated from Hazrat Uqbah bin Aamir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Whoever does not accept the concession granted by Allah Almighty, he will have sins equal to the mountains of Arafat.
