حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْبَرَاءُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ شَقِيقٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَلَا أُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِشِرَارِكُمْ ؟ " فَقَالَ : " هُمْ الثَّرْثَارُونَ الْمُتَشَدِّقُونَ ، أَلَا أُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِخِيَارِكُم ؟ أَحَاسِنُكُمْ أَخْلَاقًا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Shall I not tell you about the worst of people? Those who utter nonsense and mock others. Shall I not tell you about the best of people? Those among you who have the best character.
