حَدَّثَنَا الْخُزَاعِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلَالٍ ، عَنْ كَثِيرِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، عَنِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ رَبَاحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " يُجِيرُ عَلَى أُمَّتِي أَدْنَاهُمْ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Even my most humble follower can grant protection to someone (and it will be binding upon the entire Ummah).
