حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ ، وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا لَبِسْتُمْ ، وَإِذَا تَوَضَّأْتُمْ ، فَابْدَءُوا بِأَيَامِنِكُمْ " ، وَقَالَ أَحْمَدُ : " بِمَيَامِنِكُمْ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When you put on clothes or perform ablution, start from the right side.
