حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ ، عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ الْعَتَكِيِّ وَهُوَ يَحْيَى بْنُ مَالِكٍ وَقَالَ عَفَّانُ مَرَّةً : قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا قَاتَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ ، فَلْيَجْتَنِبْ الْوَجْهَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When any one of you strikes someone, he should avoid striking the face.
