قَالَ مَعْمَرٌ : أَخْبَرَنِي ثَابِتٌ ، وَقَتَادَةُ ، أَنَّهُمَا سَمِعَا أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَذْكُرُ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ ، إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " بَنُو النَّجَّارِ ، ثُمَّ بَنُو عَبْدِ الْأَشْهَلِ " .
This narration is also reported from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him), however, in it there is mention of Banu Najjar and then Banu Abd al-Ashhal.
