حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ أَكَلَ مِنْ هَذِهِ الشَّجَرَةِ يَعْنِي الثُّومَ ، فَلَا يُؤْذِينَا فِي مَسْجِدِنَا " وَقَالَ فِي مَوْضِعٍ آخَر : " فَلَا يَقْرَبَنَّ مَسْجِدَنَا ، وَلَا يُؤْذِينَا بِرِيحِ الثُّومِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever eats from this tree (garlic) should not harm us in our mosque.
