حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، عَنْ ثُمَامَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِذَا وَقَعَ الذُّبَابُ فِي إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ ، فَلْيَغْمِسْهُ ، فَإِنَّ في أَحَدَ جَنَاحَيْهِ دَاءٌ ، وفي َالْآَخَرَ دَوَاءٌ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If a fly falls into the vessel of any one of you, then remember that in one wing of the fly there is healing and in the other there is disease. Therefore, he should fully dip the fly into it (then using it is up to his discretion).
