(حديث قدسي) حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَفْصٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا وَرْقَاءُ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ ، عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَمَّا خَلَقَ اللَّهُ الْخَلْقَ كَتَبَ كِتَابًا ، فَهُوَ عِنْدَهُ فَوْقَ الْعَرْشِ : إِنَّ رَحْمَتِي سَبَقَتْ غَضَبِي " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When Allah decided to bring the creation into existence, He wrote in a book which is with Him above the Throne: "My mercy prevails over My wrath."
