(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا رِبْعِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ أَبِي مُسْلِمٍ ، قَالَ : رَأَيْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ وَنَحْنُ غِلْمَانٌ تَجِيءُ الْأَعْرَابُ ، نقُولُ : يَا أَعْرَابِيُّ ، نَحْنُ نَبِيعُ لَكَ ، قَالَ : دَعُوهُ فَلْيَبِعْ سِلْعَتَهُ ، فَقَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ : إِنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " نَهَى أَنْ يَبِيعَ حَاضِرٌ لِبَادٍ " .
Muslim bin Abi Muslim (may Allah have mercy on him) says that I saw Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) when we were children. When villagers would come, we would say to them, "O villager, shall we sell your goods for you?" Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) would say, "Leave it, let him sell his own goods if he wishes," and he would say that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade any townsman from selling the merchandise of a villager.
