(حديث مرفوع) قُرِئَ عَلَى سُفْيَانَ ، سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الزِّنَادِ ، عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَسَمِعْتُ سُفْيَانَ يَقُولُ : " إِيَّاكُمْ وَالظَّنَّ ، فَإِنَّهُ أَكْذَبُ الْحَدِيثِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Beware of suspicion, for suspicion is the most false of speech."
