(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ ، عَنْ الْأَعْرَجِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، يَبْلُغُ بِهِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَا يَنْظُرُ أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَى مَنْ فَوْقَهُ فِي الْخَلْقِ أَوْ الْخُلُقِ أَوْ الْمَالِ ، وَلَكِنْ يَنْظُرُ إِلَى مَنْ هُوَ دُونَهُ " .
It is narrated marfu‘an from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that none of you should look at someone above him in terms of body and wealth, rather he should always look at someone below him.
