Musnad Ahmad 7171 — Musnad of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with)

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Wheat for wheat, barley for barley, dates for dates, and salt for salt should be sold in equal measure or by weight. Whoever adds to it or demands an addition has engaged in usury, except if their types are different.
