(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا عِمْرَانُ الْقَطَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَامِرٌ الْأَحْوَلُ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَالَ : فُلَانٌ ابْنِي ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَا دِعَاوَةَ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that on the occasion of the conquest of Makkah, a man stood up and said, "Such-and-such child is my son." The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is no validity to such a claim in Islam."
