(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ شَيْخٍ يُكَنَّى أَبَا مُوسَى ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، قَالَ سُفْيَانُ أُرَاهُ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " صَلَاةُ الْقَاعِدِ عَلَى النِّصْفِ مِنْ صَلَاةِ الْقَائِمِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The reward for offering prayer while sitting is half of the reward for offering prayer while standing."
